2023 Republican Government Shutdown: Same Shit, Same Story
Will our military follow his orders? I'm a poor historian, but has this happened in the last 100 years? What options does the military have to not follow his knee jerk command?

are there any anti-vaxxers here?
Yet about half of the 100 million prescriptions written for antibiotics each year are for respiratory ailments that aren’t going to be helped by a drug. (MORE: What Doctors Know—And We Can Learn—About Dying) Prescribing an antibiotic for a viral infection is not only wasteful, it can hurt the patient. More than 140,000 people, many of them young children, land in the emergency room each year with a serious reaction to an antibiotic. Nearly 9,000 of those patients have to be hospitalized. So why do doctors write the prescription? Most do it out of habit or to make their patients happy. A mother brings her sick child to the pediatrician and expects to walk out with a prescription.

are there any anti-vaxxers here?
They shouldn't , but they do because of helicopter, over-protective parents who demand it. I'm sure the doctors get frustrated and just throw their hands up in the air and say WTF.

I'm from a time where it was a way of life to get measles. I also believe that it is negligent to make your child go through a miserable illness that could have been avoided in this day and time. However, I'm pretty sure that 1 in 4 measles sufferers in my time did not go to the hospital. Today's households without a doubt go to the hospital. They also get antibiotics for colds and the flu. My latest I-fucking-can't-believe-it is the modern parents telling me their kid tested positive for the flu! Tested! I'm going to open an office and tell people that their kids have the flu, a cold sinus infection or a sore throat strep. That'll be $109.95.

Year 5. Show improvement. Huh? The only reason he's still here is because we owe him so much money. He will be back next year because we owe him so much money. We owe him a lot of money.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
That's why they're building that awesome track complex that seats "nearly 2,200". They went all out with the amenities on this "bigger than baseball" complex. Cushing Stadium will have an initial seating capacity of nearly 2,200 fans, complete with hospitality amenities, press box, full broadcast capabilities and service areas. It will also have team meeting rooms, locker rooms, a training room, official’s quarters, and equipment storage.

Something to this effect was posted on previous site. My favorite "The anti-vaxxers heads are going to explode when they create a vaccine for autism."

Read a review of recumbent bicycles and author said only three types of people rode them. Pencil protector- wearing engineers, the fat and psychopaths. He received a number of letters from psychopaths upset about being compared to engineers.

Rick Barnes thread
I'm so happy for RB, he's the consummate professional that wants the best for his kids. Best nutrition, best off-court workouts, best travel conditions, best coaching. Obviously he went through something in his personal life that made him not be the coach he could be and he got what he earned. In the modern world of high-dollar, what-have-you-done-for-me lately sports it's becoming more apparent coaches need a change of scenery or some time off to regenerate .

I would love to know what RB was thinking when he restricted Turner's playing time. He was a fastidious coach and I'm sure he had HIS reasons. Cue Goo 3,2,1...

I think it has to do more with confidence. In high school these guys were studs and walked and played head and shoulders above their competition most nights and for years previous. We're not talking about hitting a 3 pointer after a dribble and pull up with a hand in your face. Most of these are set shots. Their confidence or lack of comes from the fact that that they can't dribble circles around everyone anymore, jump higher, run faster and w?Shaka their not improving on those skills to achieve at the next level.
