I think the sentiment around here was since we were running the veer, it made the oline look far better than they actually were. Once we got away from it with Herman, our oline looked poor. The veer covers up for a shitty oline.
Someone help remind me, did Ash's defense look questionable halfway into the season before he adjusted quite a bit and then we looked good? I may be remembering that as I want to in hopes that is what happens with PK.
Is Foster ever going to learn to wrap up? It's probably just viewing bias but the tackles he was in on in the game were him throwing his shoulder... again. That or attempting to strip the ball.
Hanzal was for Hitch because hitch loves giant bodies that hit and hasn't really adapted past 90's 00's hockey. I like the Suter signing mostly because of the minimal cap hit but yeah wish the term was shorter. Until last season, he was fairly consistent with his point production and games played. Here's hoping he's not another reincarnation of Gonchar or injured Methot.
The reason I stopped posting here this season was nearly every game I commented on live we fucking blew. I'm not superstitious... but I do change what isn't working.
Republicans don't care. They can do anything and get away with it so long as they "stick it to the Libs." There is no integrity there, only hypocrisy so that they can cling to power.
His problem is he's a first round pick and probably should have been further along in his development. Granted Faksa took a while to get where is now so there's hope.
One of the issues with this team is consistency. So many guys being in and out of the lineup doesn't help. Much like last year I don't know if there's a great move to make. If anything you may see what you can get for dickinson, not sure if it's a bad start for him or how he's being used or his ice time, but he hasn't looked great this season. I just don't know what you try to get in return. Bringing another new body may not be an improvement. Sure would be nice to get that bottom 6 rotation and even the 2nd line set; but you know, injuries. I haven't seen Kero lately so I think they figured out that was a failed experiment. I'd like to see L'Esperance get several games but I think since he's older than Camaano they favor using younger guys. Not sure what's going on with Dobby. I know Ott has looked competent back there but I would have expected more of a rotation. Dobby needs to find his game because he looks great when he's on. Lot of word to say, just like last year, I don't think there's a great move out there worth making.
