Wouldn’t it make more sense if he did have a history of seizures? He could just be an epileptic who got triggered by all the AV stuff on the set, or his own voluntary drug use. Whatever it was, in his specific case, it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the crowd surge that seems to be responsible for most of the other injuries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Except that a psychopathic mass murderer can kill people with a syringe full of Fentanyl. You can’t kill anyone with marijuana gummies. You’d just be wasting them. Not saying that’s what happened to all these people. It obviously isn’t. But it does look a possibility for at least one or two, like the guy in the video I posted above. I don’t disagree w/ the posts about the failure of oversight by local authorities, but I did want to throw in some info. Those failures are not likely to create any legal liability on the part of Houston or Harris County because of sovereign immunity and the limitation of their liability under the Texas Tort Claims Act. Even if those claims were viable, the all-in maximum exposure for all claimants combined is $500k for Houston and $300k for Harris County. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Parents won’t walk away with any settlement at all, if their kid lives. The most they’ll get is their medical bills back. The setttlement money will go into a trust or annuity for the kid and he won’t collect until he’s 18 other than any amounts needed to provide directly-related medical care. This video shows a person having a seizure in an area close to the stage that doesn’t look like there’s any stampede or crowd crush going on. Granted, this is just one video. I’ve seen tons of other videos and witness accounts that are very consistent with trampling deaths. So was there more than one thing at play here? I’m interested to hear the autopsy results. Moving. Not moved. But I realize most people apparently have a really shitty sense of humor. Maybe it really would go over their heads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If the folks watching TV can't hear the facetiousness of two Big 12 fanbases chanting "SEC SEC SEC" then fuck 'em. I'm pretty sure they picked up on it when we were chanting it at Uga in the Sugar Bowl to Georgia.
Does College Gameday ever follow the same team 2 weeks in a row? Because with a few not unlikely outcomes (LSU>UK, OM>Ark, UGa>Aub), if Texas beats OU, where else can ESPN really go on the 16th besides Austin? Waco? Are we on Fox or ESPN for oSu? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For a Big 12 TX/OU matchup, especially if it were in a Big 12 CCG, a facetious SEC chant would actually be pretty hilarious. Once we’re actually playing in the SEC though, not so much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The "story" is there's no sign of a Brockermeyer on any depth chart outside of Austin. That's the whole story. The rest is probably just wishful thinking.
Lol, the fact that ESPN is airing ‘Futbol Picante’ here tomorrow at 6pm. Fortunately I got this VPN thing up and running and the WiFi is is strong enough here to stream seamlessly. Thx surly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They do have ESPN, but it’s the Mexican version and I don’t want to watch “futbol picante” which is what the guide says they’ll be airing tomorrow. Looks like I’ll be going the VPN route, unless Playa Del Carmen or some other place near here has an official Texas Exes bar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m at a big resort in Riviera Maya right now Saturday. Looks like my streaming options don’t work here. Resort has a great sports bar, but I’m not sure the game will be on or not and I don’t trust the overly agreeable staff here who assure me it wilI. I will gladly leave the resort if I need to, to watch the game. Help? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hate to Shoop into this thread and Push It into a new topic, but Whatta Man CDC is for getting Salt N Peppa to play LCL for the Rice game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
