Amazed he went back with that stunningly terrible paint scheme. When fuck you $$$ really does mean fuck you, I guess.

My wife still has hers from her childhood, and my kids shot it before moving up to .22 It didnt make the safe (premium space) but it's hidden tight as it's an heirloom at this point.

I was hoping you'd say that. I'm planning out a couple of builds for some lowers I have collecting dust in the safe, and am pretty much all in on piston at the moment. LWRC and PWS are the uppers I have penciled in for the new builds. Have heard and read lots of mixed reviews on retrofit kits but may break down and see what if they are as iffy as they say. Spent some time behind a LWRC piston gun this fall and they are just so much cleaner and well suppressed (imo)

Do you have issues with the LWRC piston version?

I've really enjoyed several of the LWRC's I've handled/shot/hunted with.

Funny how that works - we've had the same thing (which believe is also largely coincidental) several times. The two ranches that border us are both MLD, and they'd be DOA on those extended seasons, but it still makes me laugh when some unknown big dude shows up day or two after our season ends. Kids' gym seasons kick off this weekend and go for next dozen weekends, so I'm going to try and sneak 2 more single days out before buck season closes on the 19th. Been a really tough year for antlers on our place, haven't seen anything but nice young deer. I did see a monster on the wrong side of the fence one sit - the type you don't even need a good look at to know its a shooter. Lots of smaller broken up bucks chasing around last week. 4 more sits for horns then will finish off doe tags I guess. Quail has been strong to very strong so far. I've got 2 does and a couple of big boars down and that's it for the year so far.

Did some doe maintenance last week. Some bucks were chasing, some not at all. Nothing had a swollen neck, antlers were all intact. As usual plenty of stunning 2.5 and 3.5 yo 8's and 10's, but nothing mature moving. No wonky culls. Having to hunt in your underwear 5 days before Christmas is complete bullshit. Next place will be MLD if for nothing more than getting to hunt in the cold, busted up head gear be damned. Looks like it's going to be an amazing year for our quail.

That's wild. We had waiting lists to get in with the first, and just brought in a nanny with the others because they were still packed. Local anecdote I know, but I would have never guessed.

Lol. Literal use of the acronym.

A large portion of the EU would disagree. Also Japan. And Oz, Switzerland, and Denmark, among others.

That's how it works when it's successful - The American Dream. Would you like to hear my anecdotal story of what it looks like when it doesn't work, because I got a really good up close and personal look for about 17 years. It's foolish to believe it'll work 10's and 10's of millions of times over, but something we should strive for with controls to expedite those types of successes. But still, NIMBY. I do respect you. And LOL you aren't going to live within 5 miles of me. And you missed a spot with the weedeater. Maybe I'll revisit how some of the words being thrown are defined. What plan? I don't recall offering any plan. I'd only request you find that particular receipt. Pretty sure that I have not typed that.

You call it contempt, but neither one of lives near our lawn crews. Or the janitor at work. Coincidence, probably. I understand you feel better by not saying that out loud on a message board - that doesn't change the fact. Statistically, almost everyone's grandparents were. Those who weren't are probably mostly wealthy now. For every story about the guy who started with one pressure washer and became a multimillionaire, there is a thousand that were well educated and continued to build their family's wealth. Neither of us knows who the next pressure washer guy will be, we have a pretty good idea on who will continue to build generational wealth.
