  3. Things are pretty much opened up if you get out of the big metro areas. There isnt anything I can think of that I cant do now that I was able to before other than large concerts. big sporting events, and dining in at Raising Canes. Movie theaters, high school football, sports bars, water park, watching cover bands all available. Drive 10 minutes to Arkansas and regular bars are open.
  4. Schools have been open here(Texarkana) since mid August and there has been no surge, The kids had off season strength and conditioning at school all summer, except for two weeks around July 4th.
  5. I see a bunch of Canadians going to Florida in the near future. I just got back from spending 8 days in the Keys, had a great time.
  6. Our 13 yr old decided to go to the school nurse for a headache, which apparently is enough to require a covid test to return to class. The best part is his brother at a different school also had to be pulled from class until this test was done. Luckily his primary was able to see him immediately and administer a rapid test and get them both back to school same day. Just cost $115, lots of phone calls and 3 hours off work for the wife. I told him his head better explode next time he gets a headache.
  7. final bitches
  8. not official yet https://sports.yahoo.com/big-ten-football-remains-limbo-002617489.html "The Big Ten might play football in 2020 after all. But as of Tuesday evening, no decision to reboot the season had been announced. Conference leaders are expected to approve an eight-game, nine-week schedule that could begin as soon as Oct. 17, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and other media outlets reported Tuesday. That would put the Big Ten championship game on Dec. 19, the day before the College Football Playoff field is scheduled to be revealed. There also remains a possibility the season could begin the weekend of Oct. 24. "

  10. This is where I'm at. It just seems a few think you are cheering on the apocalypse if you suggest anything other than hunker down inside your home.
  11. For the record I never said I was anti mask. Its obvious they helped and should be worn when appropriate. I personally won't wear one outside but if it makes others feel better to do it I dont criticize.
  12. I dont know where you live but football/school has been going on for 3 weeks here. Other than people wearing masks inside life is pretty much normal and has been all summer, nothing left to reopen except the Chick fil A dining room.
  13. I've never once claimed the virus is a hoax. I'm not going to end up on TMZ over a mask, I'll wear one inside when required but I'm not going to stop living life either.
  14. I wasnt mocking masks. I was mocking you.
  15. You're gonna upset some people with more positive news. They'll demand we wear masks in the shower now.
  16. I think we can all relate at one time or another

  18. Sad but doesn't sound like it was anything football related. "It is unclear how he contracted the disease. Stephens played in 32 games for California University in his first three seasons. The school was not playing football this fall with COVID-19 health concerns forcing sports to be halted by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference." https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2020/09/08/college-football-player-jamain-stephens-dies-covid-complications/5752177002/
