I have this one and have been quite happy with it. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-15-Amp-Corded-10-in-Job-Site-Table-Saw-with-Rolling-Stand-DWE7491RS/204512007 From what I read before I bought it, the rack & pinion fence adjustment is pretty significantly better than anything else on a jobsite saw. At one point I made a sacrificial fence for something was working on and made it a foot or so longer than the saws fence and now I use that for 90% of cuts because the added length makes things so much easier. The motor does shake itself out of square a little bit over time, but it’s pretty minor. I don’t run a ton of bd ft through it so I’m not sure if it’s a number of start/stop cycles or the change in seasons over time. I bring it back into square once it’s more than .005” over the length of the blade, which for me is maybe 3-4 times a year. It’s usually out by .01” by the time I notice it. My biggest issue with accuracy was the short fence, solved by the auxiliary fence, and the riving knife, being sized for the thin kerf blade it came with, doesn’t keep stock tight to the fence when using a standard blade. Planning to try these when it’s above freezing again in my garage: https://www.microjig.com/collections/mj-splitter
God damn I forgot how much work it is to shovel 10+” of snow. Got the 1st 10” cleared off so I only have to clear 3” tomorrow instead of the whole depth. My 9 year old daughter was helpful for maybe 20 minutes, which was longer than I expected. After that, actively making things worse by seeing how big of a snow chunk she could lift up and heave onto the part of the driveway I already cleared.
We’re projected for 6-12” up here and by the look of the grocery store you’d think we’re projected for 6-12 feet. Complete insanity, and completely unjustified for the location. At least people in Texas have cause for concern if there’s snow or ice. Up here unless you live on some back road there’s going to be a snow plow past your house every hour throwing salt from Saturday night to Monday morning. Unless your only vehicle is a camero with bald tires and you have to be somewhere on Sunday, this should be a non-issue. It’s a weekend, conference championship Sunday. Pick up your drink of choice on Saturday, settle in on Sunday, and Monday morning everything will be back to normal other than some shoveling. Just like every other snow storm.
Peach is blocking Michigan, osu, and psu. All have played in one but lost from 2018-23. Rose is blocking Tennessee with 2 shutout losses in the 1940s. TCU with 1 loss in its only Orange bowl. Bama lost its 1 appearance in the fiesta bowl.
235 off the tee. 225 out of the fairway. I’m a 14 handicap so it’s not as automatic as maybe I made it seem, but I feel completely confident with it in my hands. Especially in comparison to the other clubs at the top of my bag, driver, 3w, 3h, 5i, it’s by far the most consistent of those clubs. Out of the fairway, I feel more confident hitting 3w off the deck 225 than anything else down until probably 8i. The only time I really get into trouble with my 3w is when the ground is very soft, which up here is more often than I’d like. I can get a little steep with it and when the ground is hard the club skips into the ball and I just lose a little distance, but when it’s really soft it digs in for an ugly chunk. I bet I could score almost as low with my 3w and 56* as i can with my full bag.
What drivers and fairway woods? I’ve been on the fence about replacing both for years. I’m running an M4 that I used to love but can’t find the fairway with anymore, definitely the clubs fault. And my 3w is a Burner that I bought in 2009 and has been my favorite club in my bag for all of those 17 years. I’ve been thinking about replacing it for a decade but it just feels automatic more often than not. Been telling myself I need to fix my driver swing and get fitted before I buy a new one. Also been telling myself that there’s no need to replace what’s working with the 3w, but damn I’d love for it to be a 255 club instead of a 235 club.
