A Whiskey Rebellion is nice when it's warm:
1 ounce of Pimm’s #1, 1 ounce of rye, ¾ ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice and ¾ ounce of simple syrup. Shake with ice, pour into glass over ice.
We still pick a couple of Hot 'n Ready pies on the rare occasion when we have no desire to cook anything, and we are passing by on the way home. Kids like it, it's cheap, and it is passably good enough. I enjoy the pepperoni most.
No, not the best thing you'll ever eat, but far better than a lot of stuff I've paid more for.
Unfortunately, yes. Travel, late, next to hotel, and one of the few things on the menu that sort of went along with my diet plan at that time. Not because I thought I'd get a good steak.
I ate at a Ruby Tuesday's in Tempe last year. Easily among the top 10 worst meals of my life. I had a sirloin (doing the slow carb diet thing), and they probably used 8 oz of butter for the 8 oz steak. Everything else was likewise drenched in butter. You might think that would be a good thing. It was not.
Too trendy right now? Don't care. Easily one of the top cocktails for me.
Equal parts Tanqueray, Campari, and Noilly Prat sweet vermouth is my go-to. Sometimes a dash of orange bitters, courtesy of a friend's recommendation.
