Haven't gotten my money yet because the IRS didn't have my direct deposit info, even though they took money directly out of my bank like two months ago. Gave them my bank info, so now all I do is wait I guess.
I think that's the main concern. The NWS put up the current tornado watch, and any time they use words like "numerous", "widespread", or "area-wide", I tend to assume the worst.
Over the past few months I've been catching up on novels I've missed over the years via the Libby app and Audible. I've largely subbed out all the podcasts I listened to and am instead blowing through books at a pretty fast rate. I've tried to stay in the fantasy/sci fi genre, or just any Neal Stephenson. Books I've read lately:
The Library of the Unwritten - A.J. Hackwith
Oryx and Crate - Atwood
Witcher Series
Expanse Series
Song of Fire and Ice Series
2 books into the Mistborn series - Brandon Sanderson
Readme, Fall: Dodge in Hell, Cryptonomicon - Neal Stephenson
What other fantasy/sci fi series should I jump into immediately? Other than LotR.
So, this is a 167 game/developer tool bundle on Itch.io that is pay-what-you-will. Pay what you want to provide financial aid to developers impacted in loss of funds and business opportunity by the cancellation of the Game Developers Conference. It appears most of the games are very small, one or two person-built games, but there could be some fun gems in here.
