"In the Pale Moonlight." ETA Wait you mean ST: Legacy. It's fans' pipe dream about a successor to TNG. Will never happen. Paramount is broke.

Would Pike team up with a spy had have a senator whacked? SNW on the whole is a good show, and worth the sub. S2 fell off at the end but I'm willing to fault the writers' strike. S3, 4 and 5 will be awesome. Then we'll get ST: Legacy. I know it.

Greenland
Seems there are two camps on this board in regards to Greenland, MLPS, etc: 1) He doesn't have the authority so all he's gonna do is bluster. 2) He doesn't have the authority so he's gonna bluster then blow up the Constitution. AHB is clearly in the #1. I'm mostly there too, but not all the way.

SNW verges on that as well. As much as I love Pike and his hair, he needs to drop the boom more, and be touchy-feely less. Friggen Gen Z, man. What I'm saying is he needs to read Benjamin Sisko's autobiography.

Curious, was there outrage when the episode aired? Frakes is great at all the ST he influences.

Put in the big hole and gouge on it (truck driver check in)
LOL none had AC. Neve heard of air-assisted stearing. We also had a 9500 for a bit. The doghouse did not block much noise. Still, I remember curling up on the passenger seat and sleeping. A friend of mine's grandfather drove truck in the late 50's. Gonna guess he drove a gasser, and I hope it was a GM 702.

News stories that remind you of Surly
In my experience, a Chevy pickup is governed at 104 mph. The $140 fine is lol, but those 7 points are gonna hurt. https://www.valleynewslive.comDriver cited for 104 mph on closed I-29 during zero visib...The driver received a $140 citation and seven points for speeding. A juvenile passenger was in the vehicle at the time of the stop.

Show me your old Tacos (4Runner, FJ, Landcruiser, bronco etc)
Figured it'd be worth way more than that. I bought a brand new x cab Taco in 1999. $28l iirc. Assuming the frame hasn't rusted into dust, what's that thing worth today?

How good is NATO - US good at satellite intel? I've always presumed we pretty much own that space.

Put in the big hole and gouge on it (truck driver check in)
I grew up on a farm, in the 1980's. Back then, truckers were the last cowboys. Smokey and the Bandit, BJ McCay, etc. But we wre poor as shit, and the trucks we hauled grain with were shitboxes. 238's, 318's and 290's all. One didn't even have power steering.
