What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
Man, Plohetski hates him some Garza. Guess it's pretty easy pickings for a journalist when you're fucking up as much as this slime.

Week One CFB Preview: Very Real Very Fast
Great work as always. The only downside to Texas / Ohio State is that weirdo Gus doing pxp for the game. 60 seconds into the broadcast he'll break out his pet go-to "....the world famous Ohio State University". That will be the first of 8 - 10 times he says it during the course of the game.

Texas adds on-field sponsor logos for 2025
The stadium's been whored out for decades. This isn't going to make any difference.

Garza's a fucking unbridled tapeworm. But there were 350,000 people in Travis County who chose not to vote in November 2024. They're as much of the problem. On the subject of pieces of shit:

Another Giovanni's is some of the best pizza in town (that's not a restaurant). Tucked in a corner of the Barton Hills Food Mart on So Lamar. The chef from the old Mezzaluna downtown. He's been in the food mart for a long time, barely enough room for his ovens and a couple of staff. But some amazing pizza.

July 4th Hill Country Flooding Tragedy
I didn't know that many died that were at HTR RV park, at least 37, the single largest cluster of deaths in the disaster. This park is immediately adjacent to Blue Oak, the park run by the owners of Howdy's and where Pat Green's brother and 3 family perished. Everyone else staying at Blue Oak survived. Howdy's is the red building to the far left. HTR, or its remnants, is in the immediate foreground. Green's brother was staying on the little island area near the restroom building that's still standing (center, a little to the right). https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2025/08/15/texas-floods-rv-park/

Heard Overshown on the Musers a few weeks back when they were at camp. Such a solid, grounded and humble guy who makes it a point to go home ever year to give back to the tiny place he's from - Arp and its 1,307 residents. Nice story: https://www.kltv.com/2025/08/09/cowboys-overshown-hosts-third-annual-back-school-event-arp-city-park/

Craps for beginners:
I hate it as much as anyone. Some of the best times I've had with friends were on Friday / Saturday nights on the Strip (and downtown) at a hot table. Everyone becomes best friends, chips going your way, drinks flow, bigger tokes for the dealers. The O'Shea's on the Strip was especially an epicenter of good times - table sat right on the the boulevard, got the street traffic and people watching, bar immediately adjacent to the table with Lucky the midget overseeing things / pouring shots, going eye high to women's crotches, and on. Heading there later this week. It's a never a bad time as there's nothing like that city.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
It's the least of his problems, personified on that first strip where three big issues reared their head, again - terrible pocket presence / awareness, limited mobility and bad ball security. End result was an easy sack for the defender, a takeaway and a 7-point mistake in a situation where you absolutely have to avoid it all costs. Problem is, Ewers simply isn't equipped to avoid those type mistakes and they're even further accentuated at this level where everyone is faster, quicker and stronger. Didn't need a crystal ball to see it - those issues, and others, aren't going away.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
Lack of pocket presence / awareness. Not going to change.
