2024 Texas Football Coaching and Support Staff Thread
Ha, the UW fans are still butt hurt over Major Applewhite leading us to that comeback 47-43 Holiday Bowl win in 2001. Yes, they need to get a grip for sure.

Doesn't Pruitt have a "show cause" penalty attached to him from the Tennessee debacle. If so, I don't think Alabama can hire him ...

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
What about Jay Wright, former head coach at Villanova? He probably won't leave Philly or retirement but he has the track record with 2 national championships.

Media/$9.95-er postgame analysis articles (Week 4)
Sark should be throwing himself under the bus. That was probably his worst coaching effort since he's been here. Sure Worthy was out but the lack of any adjustments offensively including the horrible 4th down call early in the 3rd quarter set the tone. At some point, Sark is going to have to turn over the play calling to an offensive coordinator. That performance was downright embarrassing and pretty much kills the season IMO.

All for Marion though Hankton from Uga would be interesting if there’s anything to that.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting
Let's see, Dr Pepper is a major sponsor of the SEC and Dr Pepper has a blend ' 23' flavors. I'm thinking that means SEC in 2023 for UT football!!!!!

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: Keep Austin Beard
Of course that was horse shit and completely made up to cover the fact that Scott Drew totally out recruited us on Keyonte. I still think Morris is better overall than Keyonte, but you never pass on a pure scorer. I fully expect we’ll make up for any class of 22 shortcomings via the transfer portal.

Same shit, same results
In the Card vs Casey conversation I wonder if Card is a better practice player than Casey. There is definitely a ‘scrappiness’ to Casey’s game that you probably don’t see in practice. Case in point the horrible pick 6 he threw in the Spring Game. Maybe Sark and company will wake up to the fact about the better game day competitor.

Same shit, same results
I thought they looked like a 7-5 team after the Spring game. Then we beat LA handily and I’m thinking ‘show me a loss.’ Glad to get a reality check now before we get trucked by TCU and others. Back to thinking 7-5 at best …

Game Day Experience 2021
The ticket scanning was a mess since its all mobile tickets. At some point they did allow folks in line on the West side for Gate 6 to scan through gate 4. Definitely not enough scanner folks to deal with the crowd for sure since it seemed like the same # of ticket scanners as last year for a 25,000 game crowd. Poor planning for sure. Also, Bevo Blvd was better since they moved the food trucks to the circle area. That did help reduce some of the cluster there with the exception of the ticket scanning.

Probably Monteverde Academy and that's where Cade Cunningham went for HS basketball.

That’s Jodi Conradt talking to the team. She might know a few things about winning a national championship in basketball.

2021 Texas Offseason: Sark Attacks Austin
Yeah, after watching the Spring game we currently look like a 7 win team. However, there's a lot time between now and the season kickoff for improvement in a lot of areas (e.g., OL, WR & LB). If the team continues to improve then that could add 2 wins to that 7 win projection. Of course, all of that depends on QB play, if the OL is serviceable and some WRs step up (hello Xavier Worthy). I think the defense will be the strength of the team and the serious improvement in the coaching staff should help alleviate the utterly stupid in-game decision making from the Herman era.

Its happening (stadium renovations)
So, they haven't removed the field turf. They just covered it up with those white tiles. Who knows why they did that and seems like a waste.

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: Keep Austin Beard
Well with the Kur Kuath (OU transfer C) news that he's going to Marquette, I wouldn't be surprised if Coleman transferred there as well for 1 more year with Shaka.
