"Can I have your watch when you are dead?"
Also related - one of the things that I (obviously) never picked up on as a kid was the fact that the arms dealers in Mexico were Germans. I’m assuming this was purposeful given Germany’s attempt to create an alliance with Mexico if the U.S. entered WWI.

The Mandalorian (Star Wars live action show)
Exactly my point. It makes way more sense that they brought him back because having the two of them together is one of the things that makes the show awesome.

The Mandalorian (Star Wars live action show)
It 100% sounds like FanBoy message board garbage. Like how does Grogu not continuing on the show eliminate merchandising? They still sell stuff related to the original Star Wars movie that is damn near 50 years old now, but people aren’t going to buy Grogu stuff if he left the show in 2019? LOL ok nerds.

That’s exactly what someone who only eats salad would say.

"Can I have your watch when you are dead?"
BTW, this movie is currently on HBO Max for those interested. One thing I realized watching last night that I don't think I ever noticed before... the writing credits are Steve Martin, Lorne Michaels and Randy Newman. I know he wrote the songs, but it's interesting he got a story credit too.

Well to be fair, (a) we barely even tried to be competitive at football for like 70 years and (b) our "big brother" is a top 3-5 all-time program in college football, while texas aggy's is... not.- do you ever yearn?
[Speaking in Korean....] "Which means, 'this guy...... this isn't my type of guy'...."- New Spoon record - "Lucifer on the Sofa"
Yeaaaaaaaahhhsssss. I've been waiting for this to air since they recorded it.- Air- the story of Nike's pursuit of MJ. Damon, Affleck, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker
Yeah I mean take another movie that Affleck directed - Argo. Did anyone not find that film less enjoyable because they knew that the Americans were going to get out?- Air- the story of Nike's pursuit of MJ. Damon, Affleck, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker
Yeah I think the trailer is just OK. But as you said here and I noted earlier, Affleck deserves the benefit of the doubt as a director. Gone Baby Gone, Argo and The Town were all fantastic.- Patrick Mahomes
The "Broncos had no talent" argument is a bit disingenuous. Those 80s Broncos teams may have not been on par with the 80s 49ers or Giants, but they were very good; it's just that the NFC teams were generally better and there were a few all-time great teams that nobody was going to beat. And the 1987 Broncos were definitely considered one of the best team in the NFL that year and were a 3-point favorite in the Super Bowl over the Redskins. It's not like they were playing against some juggernaut or all-time great team like there were in their other two 80s Super Bowls ('89 49ers and '86 Giants). They were playing a good (but not great) Washington team with their backup QB starting. The Broncos (and Elway specifically with 3 INTs) just totally shit the bed in that game.- Air- the story of Nike's pursuit of MJ. Damon, Affleck, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker
Well they were huge in the running world; they just weren't known as making shoes for any other sport. It would be like today if all of a sudden New Balance signed the biggest basketball star coming out of college and made a shoe for him.- Big 12 Basketball '22-'23 (fuck Baylor)
I saw a thing on Twitter after the game that noted we are now 7-1 in Big 12 games in which Cisse plays. The only game we lost that he’s played in was the 2-point loss at KU.- Holy SH*T!!! Woody Harrelson's dad was a mafia hitman?!
Guys I don't want to shock you but I just heard that ShaggyBevo shut down.- Air- the story of Nike's pursuit of MJ. Damon, Affleck, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker
Affleck more than won me over as a director with Gone Baby Gone, Argo and The Town. So IN for this.- Hey Oil Barons.......
Well of course oil is always all over the place for all sorts of reasons. Gas fundamentals are shit right now. March storage gonna end the season WAY above 5-year average... October storage projections looking crazy high as well, even with Freeport coming back online and if we end up with another record power burn this summer. Will be interesting to see if/when production falls off... seems like Haynesville could flatten out, but Permian I imagine will keep blowing and going as long as crude stays roughly where it is. Could be rough until 2025 when more LNG capacity comes online.- Better Call Saul: Season 6
Yes but that's the thing... I don't think Chuck's motivation was pure insecurity. Granted it's been years since I watched those episodes, but wasn't a big part of it that Chuck didn't trust Jimmy to "wield" the law so to speak...? That he was worried it would become a dangerous tool in the hands of a con man/grifter like Jimmy? - Left Behind: A Quick Dose Of Post Big 12 Reality
