  1. I'm waiting for the day the conferences expand their conference football playoffs. They already run conference tournaments before March Madness and the College World Series.
  2. This is fun to play around with, and the menu allows you to test out the other conferences too. Tiebreaker five is interesting "Capped relative total scoring margin versus all Conference opponents among the tied teams". Capped isn't defined publicly so the SEC can do what it wants here.
  3. It doesn't matter if Quinn's average depth of target is 5.9 yards or 59 yards. The ball is moving backwards with 500 or so holding penalties.
  4. Quinn has to throw the pass quicker when playing good defensive teams and, you know, to get NFL ready.
  5. I'm not a fan of throwing trash on the field. That's trashy. I do wonder, though, if that's what gave the refs enough time to change the ruling. No trash probably means next play starts quickly enough to prevent a call change.
  6. At the beginning of the season I expected a UGA loss. We're right where I thought we'd be. Sure, I changed my tune after they lost to Bama, but I was wrong. Learn from it so we can stay a 1 loss team.

Yes, thanks. Certainly what I meant since Texas having a winning record over Vanderbilt would be a rather boring talking point.

Seems likely, and they have their talking points. Vandy beat Bama Vandy is 3-8-1 all time vs Texas (leave out last game was played in 1928) Can Vandy upset #1 twice in a season (assuming we beat UGA)?
  9. Take the rest of that roof off and you got yourself an outdoor stadium.
  10. Just signed up and will use Autograph over StubHub and SeatGeek next time I buy tickets. I'll let you know if I need that CEO phone number.
  11. We're coming for you 1963 9 weeks!
  12. Go Indians tonight! Happy Columbus Day, by the way.
  13. Maybe Crane is moving Espada to 3rd base coach
  14. While I am on the Quinn hype train, I am not on the Dak hype train. Hilarious what they just signed him for.
  15. StubHub is also a pain to deal with if you deserve a refund (e.g. your team was eliminated from the playoffs before it got to the game you bought tickets for). That should be instant but takes them multiple 'we are processing your refund emails' and weeks to actually do it.

Despite the CFP name, it's not a playoff (where a team who deserves to get it does so). It's an invitational where they invite the bigger name that'll generate more buzz.
  17. Why is that tomato uga guy whining about the 1980s ?
  18. If that fan is a current student, he was like 10 when you posted. lol
  19. Yes! We're taking out Georgia and their little dog too.
  20. I would have never guessed aggy had so many wins over Texas and OU in that time span.
  21. This sentence belongs in the surly FAQ under Q1 "What should I post on here?"
  22. I'm on the Ewers hype train.
  23. but he's such a good coach
  24. "average tu team at best" brilliant!!!
