Heading to Vegas in a few weeks, staying at Palazzo. Taking my sister and her daughter (no pics) and want to show them a good time for their first Vegas trip. I have dinners, shows, pool cabana, etc. plans taken care of. I'll gamble at Palazzo and other places on the Strip, but I would like to get them some gambling experience for low dollars. They don't have much money and will be scared off by high minimums. Would like to take them somewhere that's fun, reasonably nice and not too gross, hopefully a short cab ride from the Palazzo, that has low table limits. I've heard that limits under $25 are pretty much impossible to find on the Strip right now and even hard to find downtown. I'm thinking some sort of nicer locals place maybe.
Ideas?

Thanks! I'm just starting to do my research and the Yoder is high on my list. Have you grilled with it yet? Curious about how it works for grilling steaks.
That's fine. I'll be drunk. I'll laugh and be entertained I'm sure. With my shitty gambling luck, the $200 ticket for 75 minutes of entertainment is a bargain.
My verde and black home jersey is a great conversation starter around town. Old white dudes, teenage kids, cute little Mexican chicks, baggers at the grocery store, all feel compelled to comment. I'm also impressed that they seem to be watching the games based on comments. This city is definitely fired up about the new team and new stadium. Hoping they can have a successful enough season to keep the interest going beyond the first season. I think that starting the season with all of these road games may have actually been a blessing in disguise - upped the interest as everyone has been watching the games on TV and the interest is just building and building towards the home opener. Gonna be a rowdy scene.
Heading out the first weekend in June, staying in a comped room at Palazzo. People who gamble like me (couple thousand gambling bankroll max for the weekend) don't normally get comped rooms at places like Palazzo, so that tells you something about the clientele situation in Vegas right now. Expecting a bit of a shit show, given everything I've been hearing including the previous trip report. I've booked our group dinners at Mon Ami Gabi, Carbone and Momofuku, breakfast at Bouchon one morning and we have a pool cabana booked one day where we'll just eat breakfast and lunch at the pool. Gonna see Absinthe, second time for us but some in our group haven't see it yet.
If anyone has any cool new bar or restaurant recommendations, I'm listening. It's been a couple years.
No experience with any of that, but from what I've heard the Austin FC app will only have locally televised games not out of town games televised by cable networks, so I wouldn't count on the app.
I've been to the new Lustre Pearl South a couple times. They have a big indoor area with open garage doors on one side with one big TV and several smaller ones. Lots of folks wearing jerseys. Not a full blown rowdy soccer watching environment, but definitely more so than a standard bar.
That was some fun second half action. Major props to all those folks who made the trip to Denver, they were rewarded with a fun one. Man I wish that home opener would get here.
Expected worse. Pleasantly surprised. Very competitive. Need to finish better obviously and clean some stuff up in the box but I was pleased with the effort and thought we never looked overmatched.
Pretty tough test for the opening match. Environment won’t be as rowdy as normal. Think they’re only allowing 4,000 fans in the stadium in LA which is too bad but probably good for us.
Watching the stream of the Houston match. Good first half, up 1-0 on a nice free kick out of Pochettino. Some defensive miscues that need to get cleaned up.
