I highly recommend the movie Brexit on HBO. Basically the same info dramatized. The Great Hack had important things to say, but I thought it really dragged while trying to tell the personal sagas of the CA whistle-blower and the guy who sued CA, neither of which really went anywhere.
Republicans want our voting machines to be hacked because our enemies are currently supporting Republicans in their cyber attacks on this country. Hence, they will continue to block legislation that would prevent it.

Also the article says that they didn't even see the old visa thing until he was being fingerprinted. Which means a US citizen who presented a legitimate state-issued identification card was hauled in just for being brown.
What seems to work for Republicans is "lolz the libs must be so upset to see North Korea add a bunch of nukes as Trump legitimizes their government for nothing in exchange!!"
"Yes, we’re crossing a threshold with this filing,” Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-Texas) said. “And we are now officially entering into an examination of whether or not to recommend the articles of impeachment.”
Other committee members who have called for an official impeachment inquiry into Trump confirmed that view.
“From my personal point of view, we are in an impeachment inquiry,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) said.
“This is an impeachment investigation,” said Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.).
Asked if he agrees that the committee is in an impeachment investigation, Nadler replied, “In effect.”

And so it begins
From the filing — "The D.C. Circuit has construed that provision to apply where, as here, this Committee is conducting an investigation to determine whether to recommend articles of impeachment."
Umm, is this for real, or am I misreading this: the Russians are proven to have had the ability to actually change votes in 2016??? Or maybe does "voter data" mean they could have deleted voters and blocked them from voting, causing a similar effect?
"It concluded that while there was no evidence that any votes were changed in actual voting machines, “Russian cyberactors were in a position to delete or change voter data” in the Illinois voter database. The committee found no evidence that they did so."

Haha from the end of that article:
"Hastings's claim that Galicia did not inform officers of his status contradicts a notice to appear in immigration court served to Galicia obtained by the Dallas Morning News in which the Department of Homeland Security accused him of falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen while in custody."
Yes, how wonderful that she was able to give so many Republicans political cover to vote against a massive spending bill that would have otherwise hurt them in their districts.
Doesn't Maine elect right wing nutcases, like that crazy governor? (I know very little about Maine).
It would be hilarious if her party abandoned her after she shredded her credibility for the party.
