KSU had 2 timeouts left, and there was 1:45 left on the clock. Sam ran the ball on first down and intentionally went down close to the LOS. KSU took a timeout.
We did the same on second down and KSU burned their last timeout. Third down we scored but had an illegal formation that moved us back. We took a knee on the next play and called timeout with a few seconds on the clock.
Kicked the field goal on fourth down to win.
I would imagine the results would not have varied much if they had sampled him just after breakfast that day. This was a sad accident where speed was the culprit, drugs and alcohol were not a huge factor in the cause.
I believe it may be my favorite piece of television ever. I have watch many times and shared with my kids. It is a masterpiece.
Folding in the interviews with real soldiers brings emotion and investment. Just so well done.
If "Big Fish" is a euphemism for fat people on scooters at the Walmart then you are correct. Got to have the highest percentage of handicap parking spots this side of Scottsdale.
I agree with you. The boats available have gotten nuts. The only time I ever want to go faster than 40 is when I go to the land cut. I get passed by those SCB or Majek extremes going 80 with a 200 foot rooster tail.
I have seen some knuckleheads get a little to close to waders, but nothing like the shit I see on Lake Austin. I am usually on the hunt to be where everyone else is not.
It's pretty easy to cut your teeth driving over and wading the outside of St. Joe and Mud Island. Things are well marked, the bottom is soft, and there is always deep water on one side. Get to know where Long Reef is and how to navigate through there and you can fish Spaulding and the areas north. You will get more and more comfortable and be able to mark the reefs on the sunny calm days when it is easy to see.
I'm old too. Weather has always been weird. Grew up in Austin. Must have been 1981 or 82, went to Middle School in shorts (probably OP). School was dismissed at 1:00 because of snow. That was a fun bus ride home.
Not in the same district, just the same ISD. There are AISD (Austin Ind. School District) schools that are 5A and 6A. They are in different athletic districts, but all in the same school system.
