The idea of ends holding the edge and others cleaning up the play sounds disastrous. I donāt think we have the linebackers for it, and I donāt blame pass rushers for being uninterested in the job. Feels like a situation where the coach and his system is rigid and isnāt optimized to the personnel which is almost always a mistake. Players are hard to get and pipeline talent is everything. Schemes and coaches can be changed a lot more easily. *Patterson to line 1 pleaseā¦.
I get a chuckle every time these recruiting guys talk about a kids decision making process. They talk about it like itās a horse race and a decision between two final schools is rounding the final turn. Have they ever made a decision before does anyone make decisions that linearly?? They all use the same type of narrative to describe things. Itās 100% fan fiction.
Ewers has natural arm talent that jumps off the screen. I think mahomes arm talent is a real comparison. He dominates without being a scrambler which means heās learned to dominate from the pocket and has the natural instincts that follow from there, which will pay off more and more as he moves up in football.
Yes! Watching the pieces come off the board tightening the noose and the coming to grips with that lose-to-Kansas story not playing out. Watching the slow death of this narrative is going to be fun.
Recruiting seems to be working a lot like musical chairs this year and aggy has no one committed. At some point soon there just wonāt be enough prospects left for them to have a good class. More and more they will be forced to convince themselves they will flip people once the season starts but flipping is harder now with early signing day and nil. Not having a class put together should be a big red flag, but they just keep shifting their targets. When we take Baxter, hill, hicks, toviano, gullette off the board. There wonāt be anyone left. It will be glorious!
Fuck right. Iām 100 in on this new way of doing things. What matters is football and smearing shit in mfer faces. Fuck losing and fuck a slice, we coming for the whole pie!
Could be fuckery, but also could be that looking at total pop is misleading. Why_not_both.gif More useful to look at the pop that is producing most of the players, which would be areas with black people in regions where high school and college football are important culturally. That will cause LA,MS,AL,FL to proportion up.
Thanks. I cleaned and replaced the sand 2 months ago. There is definitely a lot of sediment at the bottom of the pool from the floccing, and the water is clear when itās settled and cloudy when itās not. Sometimes the return jets are introducing cloudy water sometimes they are not. I have been putting in a gallon of chlorinating liquid a day to try and make sure I kill off any algae. Iāll run a sample to the store this afternoon and provide the current test levels. Iām having a hard time finding anything out thatās directly related to flocc in the sand filter. I think Iām going to drain the pool and pressure was it bc it looks like thereās a bunch of algae or stains on the plaster. But the real dilemma is if I should do the extra work to replace the sand. I certainly donāt want to recloud the new water bc of flocced up sandā¦
I understand that I did not need the flocc. I misunderstood what would happen, I thought it would drop and I could sweep it to the main drain and then run it out the waste line, thus vacuuming to waste. When I tried to sweep it it just kicked back up into the water and I donāt have a vacuum to deal with it. Then I ran the filter and now I am pretty sure I have flocc all up in my filter, so Iām trying to figure out the best course of action from here. I can try to open the top of the filter and fill it with water and see how much I can clean out of the filter that way. I can keep putting gallons of chlorinating liquid in and running the filter. This is probably my plan⦠I donāt have a good test kit so Iāve been relying on Leslieās and their test results seem suspect.
Ok, Iām in a pickle.. Have a 10k gallon sand filtered pool. Had some equipment go down so couldnāt filter for a couple of weeks and algae bloomed like crazy. Iāve fixed the filter and Iāve been shocking the pool and I think Iāve killed the algae. Made a mistake of floccing the pool and letting it run through the filter. So now when I turn the filter in the water gets more cloudy. Questions (1) can I salvage the water/filter or should I just drain the water, wash the plaster, change the sand, and refill the pool? If I do this itās the second time this year. If the flocc will break down and I can use clarifier and chlorine to get the pool back in order thatās preferable I think. (2) are Leslieās pool supplies water testing results accurate? I get weird readings every time I go in and I donāt know if itās my water or their tests. (3) Is Trouble free pool the right resource? They hate poolrx, but does anyone recommend it? Here is a picture of the pool after running the filter and getting the water cloudy again. The walls are still pretty green from algae. I figure I can get it with a brush maybe?
Idk..some better clock mgt and some better execution earlier in the game and we could have beaten sf. I think the team is close to having big success, but until it happens it sounds like homerism. Reminds me of UT in that way, we were so close to being so much better than 4-8 or whatever last year.
So it seems like these school shootings are mostly carried out by young males aged 18-21. I donāt think these kids are choosing schools because they are āsoft targetsā I think they choose them bc they are still kids, and life in a school is pretty much all theyāve experienced. So thatās where they place their rage. And it seems like there is some pretty good science under the claim that a maleās brain isnāt fully developed until 25 or so, in particular the parts that would govern instincts to do dangerous stupid things. When I think about these things together I think it becomes obvious that some weapons should not be available for a person to purchase until they are older than 18, with the easiest example being assault rifles. I think we need to find some baby steps so one side doesnāt accuse the other of some straw man motivation like āthey wanna take all our gunsā or ā they donāt care about these kids they just want their gunsā Reasonable background checks makes sense, though I get the fear that some would have about who gets to control who fails a background check, so some precaution should be taken there.
Leroy and Lewis was an awesome lunch grab. No wait, place had good shaded seating. Food was amazing. Tried the beef cheeks, liked them. But I went for the burger and it was 10/10. Would check it out again
