  1. The way I understand it is that JQJ is upset at how his injury was managed. With his surgery done prior to getting to Texas, the only piece of the puzzle Texas medical staff (athletic trainers, physical therapist, massage therapist, team doctors) had to do with it would have been his rehabilitation process, which could’ve been at a multitude of different stages upon arrival to the school. the original post talked about using medical staffs as a scapegoat for leaving or not playing and I had responded that it does regularly. if he’s blaming the entire process on UTs staff, then he’s reaching because he wasn’t injured as a UT athlete.
  2. I don’t disagree. But the primary complaint (from what I’ve seen) is that the Texas ATs/PTs/Docs didn’t progress him back through rehab on a prior to campus fixed knee like he feels they should’ve. Like I said above, every situation is different and every kid responds to treatment differently. All I’m saying is for the complaints being thrown out, we don’t know the kids effort or attendance when it comes to rehab sessions, therapy sessions and whatnot. Could be perfect, idk. When he gets on the field at Utah we’ll know based on his performance.
  3. Without a doubt. I’m an AT at a high school and I can’t tell you how many “college careers” I’ve ruined, even when same kid has played 10 varsity snaps in 4 years. Every situation is different for sure but there’s effort questions in rehab just like there’s effort questions on the field.
  4. That it is. Was for Jordan Elliott. What a fuck of a recruitment that was.
  5. Calf assessment is strong for Pearson. Meanwhile Buj has chicken legs.
  6. Did Card redshirt last year? Best case scenario (which I know is ridiculous) is Casey goes apeshit this year and declares. Card is QB1 for 22/23 and then Maalik takes over in 24 as a RS Freshman/Sophomore. In today’s college FB, the best thing that can happen is getting in a routine of having guys good enough to declare early. With QBs demanding they start by year 2 or transferring, you gotta have guys develop faster and move on. Again ideally would be 21 - Thompson (JR) 22- Card (RS SO) 23 - Card (RS JR) 24 - Maalik (SO) 25 - Maalik (JR) 26 - Whatever 23 QB (SO) Sophmore starters are the new RS SO/JR starters. If you don’t manage it right and get guys in and out, you end up with Wright/Lourd as a starter.
  7. That a dope commitment video. AGNB!!
  8. Fuck Ewers. He had his chance. I’m all aboard the Maalik train. He’s got guys gravitating toward him, he’s pumped about being a longhorn and has been a hell of a vocal recruiter and he’s already talking about college being a process and willing to develop and wait his turn. Plus Sark staking a claim in Cali doesn’t hurt either.
  9. I laughed at this.
  10. I’m currently at Aledo for a playoff hoops game. Ill keep any eye out for TFB guys or video cameras.
  11. That Belfort kid is the class of 2025...freshman? Or 8th grader? Holy shit.
  12. I feel like the hype behind that day needs a @THUJONE surly olympic ring MS paint logo
  13. I know this isn’t really the spot but I’ll ask anyway. Anyone selling a few passes for tomorrow’s (Sunday) games?
  14. It’s to the point that a 2 QB class is a given. One as your guy and one as transfer insurance. Guys like Wright and Lourd are gonna be the biggest beneficiaries to it all cause they’ll get to spend 4-5 years in Austin vs insert low level D1 of your choosing.
  15. I hope you’re right but I think the Thompson/Card situation is one starts, one transfers. If Thompson ends up winning it, I can’t see Card sticking around for 2 more years before he’s the guy. Best case is Thompson wins, sets the world on fire, goes pro and Card starts RS Soph and Jr years and Maalik follows up starting RS Soph and Jr years. But that’s a hell of a stretch with a half of football to his name. What I think happens is Card wins the job, Thompson transfers, Card is the guy for 3 years and Maalik takes over afterwards.
  16. QB Murphy RB Blue RB Miller WR Winfield WR Stewart WR Coleman WR Williams OL Banks OL Dewberry OL Campbell OL Robertson DL Ross DL Wesolak DL Abor LB Johnson LB Tuihalamaka DB Guilbeau DB Harris DB Anderson DB Allen DB Hullaby DB Brooks I can say I confidently have no feel on DL/LB recruiting based off info here, twittersphere, and that I don’t know what I’m talking about anyway, but this would be best guess at the end of the road. Some reaches (Coleman, Tui, Wesolak/Brooks have been trending elsewhere). Maybe add a 2nd QB late, an OL/DL or 2 always come around late as well. However what a fucking class this would be.
  17. Bullshit. For Sark with zero 10 win seasons and a texas program thats done it once a since 09, a 10 win season and a NY6 bowl would bring fucks of momentum.
  18. Mannnn if Sark can win...this shit will be fishing with dynamite. Win 10 games, beat OU, make a CCG, push for a CFP spot and you’re looking at a top 3 class.
  19. I keep seeing Dunn’s name popping up here and there on articles talking about the top end players on the team. Is it known that he’s gonna be that good? All Conference at McNeese I know but that’s still a big transition.
  20. Couldnt have happened better for him. He almost stepped out when Sark got there and Sark said just watch and wait and boom boom boom in a month. Lot of talk of Texas right now and he can say he was the one that stuck with it.
  21. So to recap Maalik Anderson Hullaby Banks (mentioned on here as the possible big news) Coleman (could also be big news) Could all commit in the next few days? all gas bitches
