  1. Can we get a fact check on this? Are you sure Epstein's count is higher?
  2. Hung out at a local bar through the halftime show, and the owner flipped all the tv's over to the TPUSA "extravaganza." Wife's socializing kept me from paying close attention, but saw enough to know that it was the shitshow that I expected. Attendance may have been 200 people? No idea where the venue was, but could have been a high school gym (looking forward to determining the actual location). Subtitles were an absolute clusterfuck. Trying to make Charlie Kirk relevant at this point was so pathetic, that I almost felt pity. Couldn't hear shit in the bar, so missed Kid Rock lip syncing, but it tracks with the rest of the low-budget, half-assed production. I can only hope that this was the last gasp of a dying, irrelevant, racist, hate-filled organization that never should have gotten the following that it did.
  3. Am I the only one that thinks that we could have fixed this a long time ago by just setting her up with an Onlyfans account? Could have saved us hundreds of milions of dollars.
  4. It only seems that way to observers. You can be wringing the piss out of a Miata and still doing the speed limit. That's the beauty of those cars. ;)
  5. I can't be the only one thinking that if the agents concerned themselves more with getting shots, rather than getting shot, they would have seen a much lower mortality rate.
  6. Really dark take on this, but I desperately want to see statistics on the autistic/infected rates. I'm sure it won't happen, but goddamn would that be the icing on the cake.
  7. You have your side mirrors adjusted wrong.
  8. Realtor knew exactly what they were doing putting that 911 in the shot.
  9. That's been proven to disenfranchise a large portion of voters. 49.8% of them, based on the last presidential election.
  10. I read this, and then I look at Bud Light and Cracker Barrel. If boycotts don't work, someone please explain how the fuck these corporations just roll over for MAGA's whining.
  11. Well, word from the 2a tough guys is that they're sitting this out, because they're not going to defend others that should be defending themselves. I'm sure they'll stand up and fight the next time civil liberties are threatened . . .
  12. I bought my 170 hp Tuono about 7 years ago, because some woman in an X5M was kind of able to hang with my old Ducati. Fast forward to two years ago, and I was at a stop light next to a Tesla Model S. I was running late, and wasn't even thinking about racing the guy, was just focused on making up time. Needless to say, when I launched from the stoplight and went through 3 gears, the last thing I expected to see in the lane next to me was that Tesla. It actually scared me a bit, as I always assume the power of the bike will get me away from cagers. I suppose I could go buy an H2R to try to maintain the separation, but our options are getting pretty slim.
  13. Shortly after 9/11, I came across a company that was making non-lethal devices that law enforcement officers could use when apprehending suspects. With everything going on at the time, I was fairly certain the company would do well. Girlfriend (future ex-wife) and I were saving for a house, so I decided not to throw a couple grand at the stock. Made around $80k on that house when I sold it. TASR -> AXON
  14. This one had the comfort seats, so maybe? McLaren is not exactly known to be bulletproof, and COTA in the Texas summer has done in plenty of supercars. You want reliability on track? Buy a Porsche.
  15. Do you want a 911 competitor or a supercar? That's pretty much what you're asking. I've spent some time in both, and the 720 (and 750) feels significantly different than the 570. They offer more "wow factor", for lack of a better term. The exterior and interior of the 720 have more detail and thought put into them. It presents as a product that more thought was put into the design, rather than the 570, which other than the doors, feels like most other cars. For either one, you'll want to figure out where the closest dealer is and assume you'll be bringing the car to them frequently. Your other option for service is to check this guy's schedule and get on it: https://www.mcmedics.com/ I just spent yesterday at COTA in a 750S, and it's an impressive car. The August heat only allowed for one hot lap at a time, and the 750S next to us puked out coolant after it's first session, so you can't expect the reliability of a Porsche. However, if you're goal is to own something you don't see every day, that works great on regular roads, and has an insane performance envelope, it's an option to consider.
