I think this is some 12 Monkeys type shit. Is it just as feasible that at some point in the future time travel is created and this is just us?
  2. Only compliant I have is it’s too fucking short. 9.5 episode. Dude got his ass kicked. I felt that shit.
  3. All the interviews with the kid he comes off very childlike but speaks well beyond his years. Usually a recipe for success.
  4. Damn. That last scene. Six to midnight.
  5. Dusted off my Xbox X this weekend and I’ve been rolling with Exhibition 33 and the Indiana Jones game. Loving both experiences - but I haven’t done much RPG so the E33 was slow going at first. Highly recommend both. Also replaying one of my all time favorite time killers - Vampire Survivors.
  6. No particular reason she applied there other than her counselor went there, she likes the mountains, she’s not getting in to UT (probably), all other Texas options suck (for her), and we toured it on a whim and loved it. We did not know it was “notoriously cheap on aid” but that makes sense.
  7. This hit home for me yesterday. My girlfriend of two years - who is Indian - was pulled over in Addison and detained for 6 hours yesterday right after dropping her daughter off at school. She has been terrified of this happening (which I’ve told her several times is highly unlikely) so she has her passport with her at all times. They didn’t care - they took her in without cause, didn’t present ID, kept their masks on, then detained her for 6 hours and refused her water or the bathroom. Then they just let her go. She’s been a citizen for 7 years, she’s an executive for a non-profit, she does everything right and probably does more for society in a week than a lot of people do in a year - point being she didn’t deserve this. Nobody does. People will ask why she doesn’t pursue legal action or why didn’t she resist - if there are no laws for these people - why even risk pissing them off? I get it. I hate that she is terrified in her own community. I’m so pissed off. It’s going to drive me crazy wondering if this was just random, were they looking for someone like her, and why they didn’t believe her passport.
  8. My kiddo basically applied to the same schools as yours. I feel the same about Colorado - we loved it but we need to get some $$$ help.
  9. My daughter just got accepted in to UC-Boulder Pre-Business program. We toured there a couple weeks ago and she loved it. Still waiting on a few other responses.
  10. “So much room for activities” has to be one of the most reused quotes in movie history.
  11. Not In Nottingham prepared me for the real world.
  12. Has to be a way to hold on to the guys that bleed orange though. Not only that - Livingstone showed a ton of promise and was making plays early in the year when everyone else was terrible.
