We expect to stay on-property most of out time - will definitely hit Bahia. But, we want to schedule one dinner off-property. Anyone have intel on La Pescadera?
Just renewed for the same $4.99 (plus royalty and taxes) as last year. The total is $6.46 per radio per month, which is $0.05 more than last year. I busted my auto renew date and got hit with full price for January. Asking for relief on that got an initial denial, which quickly changed to a bill credit that effectively gives me a 13 month renewal at the new rate.
Son now accepted to CU Boulder as well. Same engineering major as Mines, which remains his top engineering option. Sadly, no Surly psych daughters on campus.
Daughter was accepted to Tulane early decision. Son has two engineering acceptances - Colorado School of Mines and Purdue. But, Purdue is a general engineering admission, with the need to apply for limited spots (4) to the program he wants (theater engineering) in the spring of his freshman year. He is still waiting to hear from technical theater programs, which include portfolio review and an "audition," which for tech is probably more of an interview. I am glad Tulane happened quickly and that we are now just sweating out one kid's offers and decision.
You will be a bit over an hour drive from Fattoria Colmone. They are known for making white wine from red grapes. I have had their "1,618 Bianco," which is made from a 50/50 blend of Sangiovese and Merlot. Terrific! The bottle says "un vino unico, introvabile, irripetibile." I can attest to impossible to find. We happened into two bottles out the back door of someone who looked at it, but didn't move forward. I've searched for more, but can't find any evidence of it in the USA....
