  1. I think the term you’re looking for is “autistic,” not “weird.” They haven’t specifically said that on the show, but it’s pretty clear as day to anyone with an autistic child.
  2. I had the “Let Your Love Flow” 45 back in 1976. I was nine. And I still love that fucking song.
  3. Suck this does not.
  4. <HUGE EXHALE> We needed this one.
  5. “Break out the peanut butter— he’s got the jam!” He said this after a slam dunk in a ‘90s college basketball game and I’ve never forgiven him.
  6. I remember a comedian in the early 90s who wondered why no one ever blames God after a loss. “We would have won if Jesus hadn’t made me fumble.”
  7. Mark Jones can eat a bag of dick-flavored Cheez-It’s.
  8. It was in Austin visiting a friend the night we found out that Freddie Mercury had died (as I recall, they had announced his illness only the day before). All we had in the apartment was a 2-liter bottle of Big Red and a cheap bottle of vodka, so that night will always be remembered as the “Big Red For Fred” disaster.
  9. We know who we are playing. This show is telling us WHEN, so post the dates.
  10. Both wearing home throwbacks. Beautiful.
  11. The AP poll moved Vandy back ahead of us. Yeah, that makes sense. Jesus.
  12. Never watched a single episode during its original run. I have now seen every episode at least 10 times. It's great comfort TV. The entire cast is fantastic.
  13. I'll be bringing my seven-year-old autistic son to the game. I've decided that I will be having a great day no matter what. Go Horns.
