  1. Agree that AirPods Pro are the shit. I have never used the regular ones so I can’t comment on those. My mic stopped working on one of them (other side was fine so I just forced it to use that side) on the pair of first gens I had, but I eventually got them replaced for free. This was after I had just decided to buy a pair of Pro 2s, so they just kinda sit there unused now, but the Pro 2 has been an incredible product for me. Music, work meetings/zoom calls, etc etc.
  2. I cannot comment on Hulu Live, but YouTube TV has multiview (where you can watch 4 games at a time) and also a broadcast delay feature where the feed is much closer to live like cable is (most streaming services are more delayed from live than cable is). Those features make it great for sports.
  3. It was allegedly some rubbery/flexible mounts of the wing elements to the nose itself. These mounts then flexed instead of the actual wing elements flexing.
  4. I believe the entire nose on the AM was bending, not just the wing elements.
  5. Remember those Reddit live streaming things (RPAN) that happened during the early days of the pandemic? I am pretty sure I saw her play on a few of those back then. But yeah, I knew who it was before clicking Jimmy’s link. I dig it.
  6. That made me try and go find posts from a few years back talking about Piastri a bit. Took too long but I did find this. I think I had more but I’m too lazy to keep looking. https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/topic/18134-formula-1-2021/?do=findComment&comment=3174319 All of these guys except Schwartzman have now raced in either F1 or Indycar. Not bad!

That made me go check Discogs to see which ones I have, since I forgot. I know I used also to have a few 60s/70s represses but sold those. I currently have the MoFi 45, the UHQR 33, and a very early run pressing with 1-D and 1-F stampers and both printing errors (on label and jacket). The OG is beat up (probably G+) but there’s still something magical about it. It’s actually been a while since I’ve listened to anything. Went through some shit last year and then just moved and haven’t set up my system again yet. Soon.
  8. Thanks dude! Edit: surly acting wack.
  9. Thanks! I typically shoot on a Canon 5DIV and 70-200 2.8, but also rented a Canon R5 and RF 100-500 for this trip. These photos are a mix of both of those rigs. I used a 16-35 F4 for a tiny bit as well.
  10. They could design their own gearbox now if they wanted to (like McLaren), they just choose to spend the money elsewhere.
  11. There are already no Mercedes gearbox limitations this year. Both teams (AMR uses Merc suspension) run a pushrod rear suspension after the gearbox case was redesigned in the offseason. McLaren already design their own suspension and have used pushrod since 2022. Aston’s big problem historically has been in-season development. They will be better at that going forward I’m sure. Should be fun!
  12. I was there (and Teton) a few weeks ago and there were apparently grizzlies and wolves everywhere, but I didn’t see any of them. Saw a black bear, though. No moose either, but saw just about everything else.
  13. And it was announced by the Red Bull side and caught Audi off guard, apparently. They were not ready to announce it yet.
  14. Lewis was definitely faster, but overtaking was way harder than anyone anticipated with the new surface. Piastri and Max didn’t make any headway (against Russell), either.
  15. It does include tires. They could be part of it, but why run it so close? They also normally do an in lap after the race and pick up a bunch of marbles, but they don’t do that at Spa due to the lap length. But of course, it’s the same for everyone and they should have known that. It’s also possible that the Russell side of the garage didn’t account for part weight differences when taking all their upgrades off after FP2. [emoji2369]
  16. He was obviously very good, but my issue with him is that he switched teams every year to be in the fastest car, and even did it even mid-season one year.

I forgot about these. Good shout.

I looked to see if any of the Fluance tables were on sale, but they don’t appear to be. The Technics 1200 clone by Audio Technica is ok and is on sale. https://a.co/d/1x7xnxg Other good entry brands are Fluance, Pro-Ject, U-Turn. You’ll need powered speakers since you don’t have a stereo, though.

I use this for a stylus cleaner https://a.co/d/g0VepXG I still use the Spin Clean for record cleaning (for now), and honestly it’s still good, but if you wanna be fancy, this inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner is fairly new to the market and is generally well reviewed. It’s kinda loud when you use it, and you can only clean one at a time, but it works well. https://a.co/d/1wvIkEy I do think that the Discwasher stuff is still good, too, but I haven’t used it.
  20. I had the dissolving ones. They definitely worked pretty well for me. Good thing too, since I ended up being allergic to fosaprepitant.
  21. Also, Lewis broke the 300 race curse! Damn, and won a race 17 years after his first one. And the first 9 time winner at one circuit. Old man still setting records.
  22. Obviously I’m biased to the winner, but regardless that was a great race no matter who won. Silverstone is absolutely the best circuit for actual racing on the calendar. Awesome.
