Once it was dry and DRS was enabled it was always going to be a massacre with the long lap here. The RB suits this track perfectly. I think McLaren was counting on a wet Q3.
Yes, but practice times are pretty far off full beans Q3 times. I’m not trying to downplay him at all, Red Bull themselves said his times were what sealed the deal this morning. I’m just adding some context.
Hell, they are even obligated to talk as a condition of being gifted the passes. This was clarified after the Serena Williams and Megan Thee Stallion “incidents”. I generally like Alanis (and she’s a UT grad), but that’s a poor take.
An update for myself: My midway scan showed Deauville 2, which is considered complete response, with resolution of my tumors (mediastinal mass still has some scar tissue but no abnormal metabolic activity). Just gotta hope nothing new pops up. Have 4 treatments left. It’s hard to walk and use my hands, but I’m making it a day at a time. LFG.
They did not. Once the early regulations were mostly rubber stamped in 2010 for the inline 4s, they built a 4 cylinder mule, but then had to dump it (I actually think some of this tech went into the M133/M139 road car engines) when the FIA finalized the change to the V6 hybrid (at mostly Ferrari’s behest) in June 2011, which also pushed the new regs to debut in 2014. Merc then had an early V6 mule running by December 2011.
