  1. Agree somewhat. I think if 2026 is another missed playoff year the heat gets cranked up. And then you are looking at a lot of new key pieces to replace, and the timeline is more like 3 years instead of 5. But yeah he'll be gone eventually but beating aggy and OU and "in" the discussion will buy him time.
  2. I guess credit for trying, but exhibition football just isn't a thing. Their trying is squeezing a turnip for every penny they can. It's based in greed and they should have just let it die off a long time ago.
  3. They aren't spending that money to cut him (assuming they are actually cutting him) That's the dead money hit, which is a cap penalty because they were spreading out his signing bonus and guarantees over the life of the contract for the salary cap. If they cut him there are no years to spread it out and they have to take the hit on the salary cap. Tua only gets what's left on his guaranteed portion of the contract.
  4. Stealing my heart
  5. Missing oysters, goulash, and fried bologna
  6. No doubt. The Jets and Browns are perpetually in the top 5
  7. It doesn't apply to Mendoza because he's already got a ton of games under his belt, but QBs need to be smart about staying vs. NFL. The NFL money is could be generational with a second contract. The number of college starts has a very strong correlation with the guys who can hang around in the NFL. That's the reason Ewers stayed another year, and the reason that Arch wasn't coming out this year. The NFL is not a good place to develop as a QB. There just aren't enough snaps to go around beyond the 2 deep. Hell even a lot of backups aren't getting anything.
  8. Quite a few states have 16 as age of consent. Although I doubt it took place in any of them.
  9. I think this is my first post in this thread. I've known I've been an alcoholic for years, but for the most part I only drank on the weekends, so there was still a semblance of control. Since the pandemic though it's an every night thing. I've probably only went to bed sober maybe 30 nights in the last 3 years, and half of those are probably because the liquor store closed at 9. Now my wife is leaving me. I still love her, but she's fed up with my shit. She doesn't want to watch me destroy myself, and she's tired of constantly prodding me about all my empty promises. I need to get my life together or I'll be dead in 10 years.
  10. And the viewers are the real winners
  11. Larry Allen from Sonoma State? Pass, need guys with p4 experience
  12. For what purpose? They pay players a salary and have employment contracts. NFL players are free to get whatever endorsement money they can
  13. I remember the sports day app being a few minutes behind radio, but mine is now like 10 minutes behind. Did they add a bunch of delay recently or has it always been that way.
  14. Correct, not “a” factor, it’s “the” factor.
  15. That son of a bitch just cheated me. No he didn’t cheat you, swindle you, or even trick you. He tampered you, and tampering son is recruiting.
  16. Probably not an issue at CU, but at a place with a good culture it would probably piss off your teammates a little.
