Not a conversation for this thread, but I often think about Hollywood's effect on how society generally views law enforcement. All of us were weaned on the bad ass cops and soldiers who got the job done at all costs, fuck the red tape and double fuck those snitches at Internal Affairs! They're still the safest movies and shows to make. The rule breaking but effective cop/detective/spy/SEAL trope is engrained. And how many of these ICE fucks think they're John McClane?
This is really dumb. You know that though. He was helping direct traffic, then shifted to helping a woman up (while being repeatedly pepper sprayed). The 6 came to him, not vice versa. We need more of that in the world, not less.
What, you mean you're not throwing a party because the state straight up executed a dude and the administration's immediate response is to call him a terrorist and threaten us to stop bothering their Brownshirts, and there's seemingly nothing we can do about it? ...I suppose the cake I bought was in poor taste
It won't be. They like being outraged. It's their natural state. Might take Polymarket up on their offer. But it absolutely will set Guinness records for how many people proudly tell you on Monday that they didn't watch a single second.
I know his value isn't at its highest, but if Milwaukee trades a top 5 player for a 36 year old with a busted knee and expiring contract, a raw athlete that can't get off the bench, and a couple picks, fans should revolt.
