  1. I don't pay for it by game, I pay by season and I'm just beholden to the scheduling. It doesn't change the fact that they have been raising ticket prices recently versus donation levels in order to maximize revenue versus a system that rewards loyalty. Nor that our ticket prices are higher than other similar programs that have been at least as or more successful over the past 7 years.
  2. 2023 - $590 2024 - $640 2025 - $720 2026 - $770
  3. Good lord PLTR... stop erasing all my gainz.
  4. Thanks a lot mom and dad... you should have bought season tickets in my name versus saving for college. Locking in donation post '21 but since then it has not changed while ticket pricing go up each year is a pretty solid slap in the face however.
  5. Why raise the donation when you can just raise the ticket prices and fuck everyone
  6. Predicted enrollment for 26-27 at Bryker was 117%. They did say those numbers were not counting portables but that number was a factor in them determining closures. Maybe those numbers are wring but it's at least what was pointed out as one of the factors. In the initial boundary change I was going to have an elementary change so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. In the spirit of trying to align feeder patterns and keep from having to cross major roads I think they are just going to add to more discrepancy between school east of 35 versus west of it.
  7. It’s the underperforming ones that are most costly based on the additional resources needed to help the kids that need more. Bryker was in question based on it being over capacity. They were not counting the portables in use as seats so that pushed the used % higher plus its an older school that has more expenses needed to keep it in working order. Moving around boundaries next year will still kick off a lot of people complaining and that will likely be louder next year as much more people will be aware of the potential plans.
  8. Oops
  9. They submitted the plan that will go before a vote. Looks like they decided to just keep most boundaries where they were prior except for the schools that are moving forward with closures. I suppose that's less disruption for now but it does sounds like we could be doing more of this next year as they decide on the three schools that will remain open for now and then potentially redraw boundaries.
  10. If. Last years team accomplished neither with a better team. Let start with just beating UGA in a couple weeks.
  11. https://docs.google.com/document/d/12h_tZswkECRuDkOo9D0m8HHQstBZFlZXvKrSOWuBTsY/edit?pli=1&tab=t.0 I sure hope to have the option but I'm not going to rule out moving or just getting a studio in the right neighborhood if worse comes to worse.
  12. "We will start formally defining our policy for this review process in January 2026. Our first review will begin in Summer 2028, two years after the consolidation changes go into effect. Note that this review does not mean we will make additional changes to boundaries or transfer policies but will hold us accountable to ensuring enrollment stays balanced. " They may do that at some point but from what I've read it won't be immediate and they will keep transfer policies in place but instead just be more thoughtful about how many they approve with less schools and the remaining ones more full than before. We will finish up in the Elementary we are at today but the zoned middle could end up quite different so will definitely be looking at transfer options.
  13. I have heard they might make changes to transfers but not they would no longer allow them. Where is this from? Maplewood being folded into Campbell might be the only instance of better students that will be bringing up the scores of a lesser school. So many others are just taking a really bad campus and placing it into a somewhat bad one so it should have the opposite effect. Oak Springs > Blackshear; Martin > Kealing. Or just rezoning students Central Austin students from Kealing to O'Henry. (this one is particularly interesting... since you are going to bring Kealing down with Martin better move those central Austin kids over to O'Henry Central East Austin students that would go to McCallum now moved to NE High.
  14. Absolutely. Oracle Eastside and Dell NorthEast. The current names they have for the Eastside schools (other than LBJ) are very lame.
  15. Houses have appreciated a ton, locked in some 3% rate. Sitting on plenty of money. Healthy active lifestyle so you don’t need to move to assisted living. And I also think it is a cultural shift that they have a more social life and not ready to uproot and move to some other community.
