2020 NFL DRAFT
Does anyone outside of DD, CJ, and BJ have a shot at getting drafted? I have to imagine that at least one or two guys out of Shack, Braun, Mcculloch, and Roach will pull a classic Longhorn performs better than expected or than in college maneuver (Poona Ford, Jordan Hicks, Deshon Elliot, Marcus Johnson).

Expectations for 2020 season
I don't know where to begin with anyone "expecting" to beat LSU, ousucks, or to win the conference championship game. Neither history nor logic supports any of that. However, I do believe we will be good enough have a great chance at winning those games. My generic expectations are to move the ball more consistently on offense, have a better scheme on defense, have fewer injuries, and not suffer any embarrassing losses. If we can do well at those things, we should still be in the conference and national conversation in late November whether or not we beat LSU or ou. We will know we've made it when the national pundits suggest that we could be in the playoffs despite a CCG loss.

Well I guess it's my speculation vs their speculation. Just speculating here.

Fuck This Decade: Texas vs. #11 Utah 6:30 on ESPN
I'll be honest, this win feels like a hybrid of the Mizzou and UGA wins. It combines the much needed confidence boost of Mizzou with the high profile victory of UGA. The off-season is always much more enjoyable win you win your last game.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
If Roschon wants to make millions playing football, he needs to stick with RB. Dude is an animal. The QB position will be fine. As for the Josh Moore conversation, it appears that he has served his time and will be back next year. He certainly seems like he is still invested. Seems like only a jail sentence will prevent that. Any recruit updates from the all star games?

Devin Duvernay "good hands"
Dude is going to make a GM look very smart in this year's draft, and will have a long, steady career in the NFL.

I'm indifferent here. But if we go for it, it better not be a passive slow developing play.

I feel like you'd be a dick to not learn sign language for a family member. Good for Zach though.

Cool Story Bro
Most of those players would have likely been in the building during the shooting. Incredible. Thanks for sharing.

2019 Alamo Bowl: Texas vs. #11 Utah - Pregame Discussion Thread
Yeah, I really wanted to put more wins as examples (maybe Tech minus the first quarter or WVU), but I think those games were our best efforts and would have been upsets. The KU game was pathetic.

Most of you are projecting your own senses of motivation and work ethic on the players. It's pretty damn rare for college athletes to not care. They wouldn't be where they are if it were that difficult to get fired up to compete. They may take some games a little less seriously than others, but they always want to be there. I'm guessing we are going to see the Texas that played against LSU, Oklahoma State, and OU more so than the Texas that we saw against Kansas, Iowa State, and TCU. The Last game of the season is always a big deal. Plus I'm expecting that we will soon start hearing some chatter from UU's players about how we don't scare them or whatever. Our guys hate that. I'm not going to guarantee a win, but it will be a good effort no matter what.
