It’s wild that US Soccer had the vision/balls to get Emma Hayes on the women’s side, but just shrug their shoulders and keep running it back with Gregg on the men’s.
Same. After a long week, did I need to stay up until midnight and watch Matt Damon stuck on Mars for the 15th time? Of course not. Did I have a great time? You bet your ass I did.
I got a stem cell transplant in August as part of my leukemia treatment. One of the effects of the transplant is that all of my vaccines are wiped out. Everything from Polio to COVID. My doctor told me a couple of weeks ago to get my full COVID vaccine (original two shots and follow up boosters). I called around to multiple Walgreens, CVS and at Tarrytown Pharmacy and no one has the original vaccines anymore. Just the newest shot. One of the places told me that they got a call last month to throw away all of the old shots. Glad the execs at Moderna got a new yacht off the money from all the shots that were just thrown in the trash. I guess the new shot is more akin to the flu shot where it is specific to the active strain and there’s not an overarching vaccine anymore. Found that super interesting.
This analytics guy, Kelley Ford is showing us at 100% if we beat ISU and are still in decent shape with a loss. He said that he integrated the tiebreakers into the model, but as we have seen, they are confusing as shit. So, take it for what it's worth.
How do you know she knew they were last? Was it the 150 times she mentioned it in 15 minutes of screen time? Slovenia looks awesome. That plane ride was real cool. They made them really work for that Express Pass. It was a great challenge because multiple teams tried to catch the red team but had to give up.
I have no interest in MMA and in fact find it quite stupid. That said, if you put Warrior in front of me, I'm locked in until the end. Happened again last night. Unbelievable movie. Super emotional father/son/brother storyline with interesting reveals throughout.
Edgerton, Hardy and Nolte (especially Nolte) are all really good. It's 2hrs 20min, but moves the whole time. Love it.
Lissie is terrific. Her voice is something you just want to live in. So comforting. Check out Catching a Tiger. It’s her first full length. She also does a ton of covers. Not Cat Power levels but a lot.
