  1. IMHO with Bond back and Gibson, I think the offense looked good enough. Good enough to win an SEC or national championship? No clue. But it looked much improved. Some of it was great play calling. Some of it was Ewers and the OL playing better. Did he play perfectly? No. But the improved threat from the running game, the creativity of Sark's play calling early and the quality of the defense and the team rolled. I have no clue what will happen v. Arky or against Aggy, but as Manning said after the game when he was asked whether he wanted to be interviewed post-game - This is Quinn's team. It ain't changing barring an injury. Even a Georgia style egg laying will only get him benched for a series or two like it did v. GA. There ain't any changing it based on what we type in this message board.
  2. So I live in Montgomery County. My lone regret was not getting one of the tea party voting recommendations papers on my way into the booth. Would have liked to know who not to vote for in the smaller, local races.
  3. I woke up today extremely optimistic about this country. I am sure I am about to kid kicked in the balls harder than ever.
  4. But Elko said it wasn't as bad as it looked.
  5. I love how quickly they pivoted from we are winning the SEC and making the playoffs to our season is still a success if we beat TU.

I'm shocked that we have "press" covering this team and not a single one of them have asked about Gibson's disappearing act the last two games.

Brutal hit at full speed and he immediately knew he was done. Not a great sign.

How not to start a game on the road.

    Uh oh......

    Let's go.
  11. Not good to throw the pass right to the DL in front of you.
  12. Big third down here.
  13. The GA TE is open on every play. Helm is going to eat next week.
  14. Well hello there.
  15. The Oline room should have articles posted each day how the Oline got obliterated v. GA and did poorly v. Vandy.
  16. The entire country shat on them all week and their coach used it to light a fire on their collective asses. They played their most complete, best game in two years against us. We still had some chances despite playing our worst game at times.
  17. I get where people are coming from with the sentiment that Ewers needs to play better. I also completely agree that I think that the OLine, Sark, and some WR issues are not making things easier (In particular see Klatt's analysis post-GA). That being said, the team is 7-1. Ewers is not playing his best post-injury obviously and he only looked great v. Michigan. There is no way Sark makes the change if Ewers plays like he did v. Vandy. Not because he gives a shit about his QB guru bullshit. But because like others have said, if he has to go to Manning - then that feels more like a permanent solution than a temporary one. IMHO Ewers stays in until he plays himself out of an SEC Championship game or National Championship playoff spot. That could happen mid-game against Florida, Kentucky or Arkansas if he Sark feels he is shitting the bed. I just don't think it happens in those three games. Finally, I am not willing to believe the person who started Tua over Jalen Hurts is somehow not capable of pulling a similar move here.
  18. Fingers crossed that Neyor drops a turd in Ryan Day's bucket.
  19. I'll take Bama over LSU. I am not cheering for Aggie.
