  1. Yes, there were just too many two loss teams for a 9-3 team to jump all of them.
  2. Bowls are moving back to they were before the national championship took them into consideration, about 1973. They should be between the scout teams. As long as your conference is unbalanced, the grind of beating Sparty/Wiscy/Purdue or Tenn/Arky/SCe no longer exists.
