Nothing to do with the killing, but nonetheless I like his thought process on how to get data that he could extrapolate into showing the general routes that each CitiBike was taking.
I’m with you. Looks like a different jacket as well. The shooter I believe had a pullover that looks like had no pockets (might just not see them in pic). This guy looks like has a zip up or button up.
I read that they found a water bottle and candy bar wrapper at the scene they think belonged to the shooter. I have always wondered when criminals were going to start planting other’s dna at crime scenes. I can’t imagine if these were his that they would be anything other than for the purpose of planting false evidence. No way this guy dropped these things with his fingerprints or dna on them.
All of the bubble teams can make as much of a case as the other teams using their own metrics that are biased towards their own teams. If SMU loses a close game, the committee can take the easy way out and go with SMU, since they have declared teams won't be punished by playing in a CCG. Any other choice comes with a ton of criticism. Choosing SMU would come with some, but it would be the easiest to justify, being a 1-loss (at the time) team in a power 4 conference who played in a CCG.
I wonder if the part of the suspect's face that is visible is enough for facial recognition software. I also wonder if there is a database out there with all the state's driver's license photos that they have access to. Possibly gain access to Iphone/Samsung facial recognition database.
I don't believe that Bama is a great team. They don't have to be to be considered the 11th best team in the country. I think it is funny to try and pump up any teams on the bubble as if they are definitely better than any of the other teams on the bubble. The committee should just say we are going to put 6 teams in a hat and choose that way so it is fair.
Well none of the bubble teams have any business in the playoffs, but one of them has to go in. Almost all of the 80 computer and human polls believe that Bama should be the one that goes in.
The clock changes really allow a team with a lead the ability to run out the clock in the 4th quarter much easier than it was a few years ago. It used to frustrate me to no end trying to run out the clock too early. I was always of the opinion that you run your normal offense and score a TD and that is the best way to run out the clock. But now, running down the clock for a while 4th quarter seems to be pretty effective.
That was the game I went to at Kyle. I do remember thinking about how quiet the place was but I thought it was just because they had no shot and they knew it the whole game. The fans were extremely nice. They would come up to me before and after the game and want to talk. The ones around my seat wanted to talk. The whole atmosphere was pretty much the opposite of intimidating.
we dont need to establish the run. we need to do what we do almost every first possession and that is throw the passes Quinn can make. Going deep there was pretty much throwing away the possession and giving A&M good field position.
If Quinn came back as the starter next year then Arch is gone. That is the difference between next year and this year. That ain’t happening. We aren’t going to miss out on Arch for a couple years so Quinn can try and improve his draft status.
Any team on the bubble didn't do what they had to do to get in the playoff. That includes those that will get in and who won't. We have insured that anybody that might have gotten screwed in a 4 team playoff aren't getting screwed. That is all I care about. The bar is so low right now to get in, just play well over the whole season and have 1 or 2 screw ups. I wouldn't mind the last couple spots come down to pulling names out of a hat.
Tennessee can definitely lose to Vandy. Georgia can lose to Georgia Tech. Imagine Georgia lost that one and lost to Texas in the SEC champ game. They are out.
You would have Bama 3 losses. Tennessee 3 losses. Ole Miss 3 losses. South Carolina 3 losses if they beat Clemson. Georgia 4 losses.
I would put in South Carolina over any of those other teams with Texas. Who else would get in from the SEC?
whatever happens, you have to coach running backs to never ever reach out the ball at goal line on a first or 2nd down. way too much risk when you have more plays.
