NFL Fans going goon not going away
What a little bitch. Landry demonstrated better blocking than 90% of UT OL since 2007.

Difference makers. Who are they?
Recommendation: Porter Reason: he makes a difference (contributing to the utter clusterfuck that is our offense)

Are We The Most Hair-Trigger Fanbase In CFB?
Kirby Smart is Georgia’s Bob Stoops and the Dawgs are gonna make the gators fight tooth and claw to win in Jacksonville year in and out. Pretty bizarre the parallels between Florida and Texas. Georgia has the best shot of being CFB’s next dynasty

USC and TCU will throttle us
I’m not offended and think your posts provide substance, but damn, there’s always something to contribute on every topic.

Post a pic/gif of our offense
True that. Actually played pretty good that season. Hell, he is accountable for the biggest wins in program history since Colt. 2013...oh the glory days (Jesus Christ)

Are We The Most Hair-Trigger Fanbase In CFB?
Most likely from 2010-2015...but now...it’s entirely justified, especially with the resources at our disposal.

How much coke/speed/Adderall can one man do? God almighty, there’s a response (with relevant pictures!) to every topic.

Really looking forward to this week’s lecture. By the way, anybody get notes from last week’s class? Too hungover to make it.

Tom "the turtle" Herman [Lame Duck or greatest 5d chess player ever?]
Agreed. It would be fun watching a team build talent/experience, a coaching staff develop offensive/defensive identities, and set up stability. But no, it’s been like a pounding a bottle of bush mills and waking up the next day hoping you didn’t die, wind up in jail, or calling your ex-girlfriend.

Cowboys @ Panthers: Season Opener
On how to run an incredibly successful franchise amidst a league beset by parity. Watch a football life: jimmy johnson. They are buddies and talk shop from time to time.

Cowboys @ Panthers: Season Opener
Actually, yeah, it is a glaring issue. You see, you need to develop quality talent, and then use that talent to acquire players in positions of need. The draft alone cannot address all these issues. A good GM working in concert with the head coach would enable a franchise to execute this plan to success. The New England Patriots have streamlined this process by having HC act as GM, with an owner who knows his place. Jimmy Johnson gave BB the blueprint and BB ran with it while also learning Parcells' strengths and weaknesses.

Cowboys @ Panthers: Season Opener
Nick Foles effect. Saw this coming a mile away in 2016, only to be proven right, and it ain't gonna get any better unless personnel is improved. Who's the Dallas GM again? Yeah right. Fuck.

I'm hoping asteroid comes in and does some serious damage. I think he'd do very well at such a swell place like the Horseshoe, especially with gary fatterson in the house.

Apathy
Gonna have to second the notion we should excuse the "aww shucks, better luck next year" mentality that has gripped some fans/supporters. We are talking about millions of dollars at stake and results should be expected; not hoped and wished for. I have said this before and I'll say it again, I'm more than glad to support a program that ensures the success of its athletes and provides a quality representation of the University. At the same time, I will not support mediocrity or simply excess and wasted resources (exhibit a: the 5 million dollar man). If we want to be UCLA or Berkeley, that's cool, but we sure as shit shouldn't be paying 5 mil/year to sit by and watch as we make these dipshits generationally wealthy. What we do with this additional money? I don't know, but I sure as shit cannot stand seeing another one of these guys get paid out the ass and fail miserably at their jobs. It's a disgrace.

“Rock bottom?” Come on, IVY LEAGUE championships carry some weight...right? Conference championships are hard to come by, just ask ol’ butter teeth, and he’ll let you know. FML.

We got a hell of a lot more issues to address than Dabo bringing in Venables.

I told all of you this would happen. LHN killed the program
This is 100% the truth. We got money whipped and bowed to the almighty mouse. Spoke to an ESPN employee in 2011 following realignment and he stated these were their intentions. We sold our souls for money and you reap what you sow. It was a too good to be true deal, and that’s what it turned out to be, too good to be true. When the LHN was in the works, it was supposed to be an entirely different channel than what we get today. Specifically, high school football was to be featured, and that would’ve been great content week in and out. I feel like Winston Smith from 1984 watching the LHN. Our present state is dark and grim, but we look to the past for hope, and this blinds us to the future.

USC and TCU will throttle us
What’s weird is that Charlie’s era was highlighted by having an extraordinary defense or vice versa and god awful special exams. Like jimmy Johnson said, you win two of the three phases of the game (offense, defense, special teams), you will win the ball game.

USC and TCU will throttle us
I’m fed up with Tom Herman’s schtick, and the “we’re Texas” mantra that has put this program in the fucking gutter, but if we hire that fat fuck I’m checked out until he retires. We need to shit or get off the fucking pot. I don’t know how we can pay coaches 5 mil/year for these kind of results. People can say LHN is not hurting the football side of things, but in actuality, it is completely destroying us. There are no consequences for failure (we are well below mediocrity) and this breeds a content atmosphere (in terms of revenue). There are way, way too many similarities to the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns and it’s staggering how these two organizations can’t pool their resources and be above average. Not winning championships every year, but compete in a conference championship every 3 years. Is that too much to fucking ask? God damn. I need another drink.
