  1. Lol... great research....
  2. So totally wild.... just crazy wild... I mean accountability is just wild...
  3. It was a bad look. Pay, fix it, and move on
  4. I was trying to think of a long run on sentence response, but I have nothing. I guess I'll leave him alone. Other than the fact that he looked scared and indecisive and wouldn't step up in the pocket and when he decided to throw it was low and in the ground or way outside or he just decided not to throw it at all or some other decision that maybe wasn't entirely his fault but at the end of the day reflected poorly on him espcecially in the last 6 minutes of game that could have been competitive but ended up 30 -15.
  5. This is what I noticed most
  6. He drove off for a couple of hours. I'm guessing somwhere between Olmos Park and Boerne. 281 to 46 to Boerne

    Only streaming?
  8. You sound soft.... : )
  9. Just watched it this morning. I really enjoyed it. I was just down in the RGV for water polo yesterday. I always get this really odd emotion when I'm down there. I'm from SA, but I always feel like I'm missing out, or missed out on something that could have been part of "me" by not having any connection to the area. Hard to explain.
  10. We don't get out very much. Last real date night was to check out Psychedelic Furs at Aztec. But after the show, my wife and I just sat on a wall near the old Landing and listened to Jazz, talked to people, and had drinks. Such a great evening and something I told myself we would do more often.
  11. They moved into the gas station? I hadn't even noticed the Indian/Sri Lankan place had closed. Yeah. Less than 5 mins for me also. That place has actually housed some decent restaurants. The original Vn Bistro was there.
  12. Go to Boudros and let the kids fill up on tableside Guacamole.
  13. what a crock of shit
  14. with the horse collar miss and the in bounds call...give it to VT damn it
  15. Thinking about Black Crowes at Tobin Center in November. I've never seen them, and I feel like they are band I should see at least once. It's a mice small venue.
  16. Lots of dudes at that concert. Man the show in Austin in 91? Good times.
  17. Mom and her family are from Hondo. We celebrated the life of one of my cousins today, so my brothers and I swung by Alvarez, which is about a block from where my mom grew up. Was going to save this for the game tomorrow, but had to have a taste. Really, really, good. I like Dzuiks. If you like Parisa, try the stuff at Alvarez as well.
  18. The fashion scene almost made me turn it off. So damn stupid.
  19. He's one of my student's this year. The Brennan team has been fun to watch these past 3 years, and they should make another run. All of my student's know I love college sports, but I'm not going to talk to him about his recruiting and decisions too much. I wear a Michigan State Basketball shirt frequently on college days (brother went there and I'm looking at their Athletic Leadership Masters Program). I need to get some Texas Bball shirts.

I hope your kid is having a blast. I think Stratford was up in Dallas with us for the Texas Cup. We didn't end up playing each other. In my time playing and coaching, I don't think I've ever had someone try it, and not love it. Just a great and challenging sport. My sarcasm meter may be off, but here is a little guide. One of our stud basketball players came to watch last week, and when he saw me at school he said, "it was fun to watch, but you need to teach me about it" 1. One whistle - Ordinary foul like knocking the players arm or pusing them down when they have the ball. Offense keeps the ball and has a free pass. The need to pass it quickly, or make it live by "popping the ball" (tossing it up or dropping it) 2. Two whistles- Turnover, Offensive Foul (like basketball charging) , or Ball Under. The ball ball is going the other way 3. Multiple whistles - Ejection. Grabbing our pulling someone back. Impeeding someone (like a basketball blocking foul) Someone needs to go out for 20 seconds, and offense is man up. Enjoy it. My boys, 11 and 9, started playing 2 summers ago. If they keep it up, they will be so much better then I ever was since they are starting so early.
  21. Alvarez Food Mart in Hondo makes a good one. Last time I went to the Frio I stopped and got some from Dziuks and then stopped in Hondo at Alvarez. I like them both.

Still watching the Texas game. (Had to coach today). Need to watch this one later. But based on how we looked against Kennesaw State…. not too surprised.
