BIG is getting embarrassing
that "1" in Penn State / Michigan's record will probably come at Ohio State's hands, so In terms of playoff competitiveness, the Big Ten is Ohio State and 13 nationally irrelevant programs. the only thing that will keep Ohio State out of the playoff for the foreseeable future is if Ryan Day is prone to the kind of "meh, whatevs" coaching decisions that caused the Purdue and Iowa losses in 2018 and 2017. they looked like a program that had corrected its few Urban Meyer era weaknesses last year.

Who is the worst Texas quarterback of the past 10 years?
Flip a coin between Gilbert and Swoopes, but at least Gilbert went somewhere else and quarterbacked effectively. Swoopes epitomizes the "that's the best we got?" talent levels of the middle of last decade. He didn't end up changing positions because we needed him at QB, even though he was terrible, because we were terrible at the position.

they said "school by school", but Nebraska's just a football programs with an academic facade attached so maybe they weren't included

Who is the worst Texas quarterback of the past 10 years?
Heard's time here reminded me of what the NFL does with quarterbacks (thinking of Colt McCoy in Cleveland). It seemed like we started him, he was great for 1.5 games, then he was poor for 1.5 games, and then he was over. i never felt like I saw enough of him to say "oh yeah, we're better with him at WR".

Who is the worst Texas quarterback of the past 10 years?
if David Ash hadn't gotten concussed, Mack Brown might still be coaching here-- he clearly was never going to retire, and a healthy Ash might have kept the team in its happy 9-4 rut and limited our blowout losses to the OU game, all of which was good enough

Trivial Things That Make You Surly
EA updates their Online Terms of Service way too frequently. I only play one game (NCAA 14) and that only for a few weeks in the summer and it seems like they've asked me to accept new terms three times already.

OK, it's "known"-- but as pointed out, there's a lot of floating data out there and a lot of ways to interpret it (methodology and underlying assumptions, not to mention age and underlying conditions). Agree w/Greenspoint, we don't really know, which to me makes cautiously moving forward (or, out of an abundance of caution, NOT moving playing) with CFB a reasonable position. It's odd that so many people don't find those possibilities reasonable. So, so odd. - College Football in 2020 in danger?
