Vinyl
Okay, so my vinyl collection that I've been working on for 4-5 years now has grown to the point where I need a hi-fi upgrade. Right now I have a Audio Technica turntable and powered Audio Engine A5 speakers. It's a nice setup, and I like that it is compact, but it doesn't have a range and sound stage that I know I would appreciate. I made a visit to Audio Concepts in Dallas, which was probably a mistake as it exposed me to a whole other world. Before that I was pretty ignorant on all things phono/amp etc. But that place is far from a value proposition, so I thought I would inquire on this thread - does anybody have any strong recommendations as far as upgrading to a more complete system with better components and speakers? I don't really have a budget in mind, but I don't want to upgrade twice and would rather get a setup that I will be happy with for a long time. Any thoughts? Outside of Audio Concepts (which I liked but crazy expensive), Starpower (which I have had bad experiences with) and Best Buy (which I guess carries equipment similar to what I already have), I'm not really aware of any resources.

Are we taking odds yet on the final vote on this thing?

Opening acts better than the headliner...
To be fair, they toured together that year and I believe they alternated who opened and who headlined

Opening acts better than the headliner...
The Cult opened for Guns N Roses in 2017 at Jerryworld and were far better. About 20 years ago Drive By Truckers opened for the Gourds at Trees in Dallas and it wasn’t close who was best , even though I loved the Gourds

Today's NYT was unlike anything I've seen before, it took a while to understand the theme.

Anyone had ArteNOM Seleccion de 1146? Got a bottle this afternoon and will crack this weekend, but never had it or anything from that NOM (Tears of LLorona, etc).

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
They have completely changed the pacing / directorial style of the show this season. It's like watching a play or musical or something - where the actors are play-acting and not trying to speak in normal cadence. Has anyone else noticed this? It's completely over the top.

Concerts you are attending
The New Pornographers on Sunday night at The Studio at The Factory in Deep Ellum. Underrated venue, underrated band. I saw them there 2 years ago and they killed it. Definitely pulled the average age of the crowd down, even at 45.

I would offer Arette blanco. Great additive-free blanco at a nice price point

Do you know what "nada" means?

Tequila y Mezcal
This can't be said enough. Tapatio, Arette, El Sueno, Volans, Mijenta, Inspirato, Wild Common and several others all beg to differ. Strenuously.
