    I was thinking the same thing - The Cars hit the ground running - along w The Police and Dire Straits. Debut albums were great - in some cases their best work. Then there was Supertramp's Breakfast - about the same time. They were almost the same age as the aforementioned - but they started making albums much earlier - bad albums. So there is something to be said for late bloomers. Anyway ....
