Meh, they've fucked up almost everything they tried to build and are just pretending shit like Justice League didn't happen, might as well just bring him back with no explanation. It's not like people are going to see this because they expect a good plot.
Can they play up the "bad blood" between tOSU and OUsucks with all the fake flag planting by former players in the NFL? If the networks think they can, they'll keep tOSU at 1.
Wore a Boras Corp hat in an interview after Game 7, asked if he still had to do the interview as he's technically unemployed, and used the past tense when talking about Houston. Doesn't mean he's 100% gone, but it certainly doesn't sound like he's attached to the team/city.
The Bregman thing is overblown IMO. Astros got what they deserved for the Taubman fiasco. Firing Taubman only after all the evidence is out and your organization can't possibly deny it anymore won't appease the public or the baseball gods. The Astros only grew some semblance of a conscience when it was the only option left to try and salvage anything.
Morey is just playing 4D chess. He knows his POS boss will probably fire him soon to try and make amends and make back some money.
Now he gets to skip out of town and get another job before the Westbrook - Harden hail mary predictably doesn't end in a title, let alone multiple titles, before it all goes to shit and he would be fired anyway.
Nothing more needs to be said.
The stance is clear, banners > everything else.
Now, if Jhawk ever comes back and tries to claim any sort of moral highground with regards to recruiting, just bring up this post/thread.
Well, we're about 25% there. Let's see the NCAA stick to its guns, not let another national power get away with a BS appeal, and drop the hammer a la USC.
Hmm, well I don't remember many underclassmen starting at qb under Chip at Oregon aside from Mariota. I would guess they should look at least competent by midseason once he learns the system, unless the guy is a complete bust. I can't wrap my head around Chip completely losing his ability to coach in this short a time.
Is the UCLA qb situation just a lost cause until next season? Like most college coaches, Chip's system seems dependent on getting the right fit at qb. If he just whiffed in the last recruiting class, well, he'd better hire someone purely to recruit since he seems to hate it.
Some good life lessons for kids, like women are nuts and not to be trusted.
Beverly sleeps with Bill, despite both of them being married, then *realizes* that it was Ben who wrote her the love letter instead and that she wants to be with him, after he got into shape and had a bunch of money.
