Check out this fucking engine. Let's place it in the car, shall we? ABORT ABORT ABORT My engine mount caught a corner and tore in half. Engine still hanging in the air until the replacement arrives. OK China, what else do you have for us in 2020 besides a pandemic and shitty auto parts?- The LOST binge thread- discussion which includes the spoiler function
I'm watching this for the first time, just finished up Season 2. It's a damn good show, lots of twists and turns. And it's really fucking ambitious; I'm surprised a network like ABC gave it a green light. I can't put my finger on it, but it feels a *little* dated. Maybe it's because the quality of TV has been turned up to 11 recently. Can't fault it, it's been 15 years. And speaking of hot chicks Michelle Rodriguez had a rockin spinner bod in Season 2.- RIP Chadwick Boseman
WTF? Loved that dude. Major loss.- Daryl Hall Will Be 72 In October

No, but I'm willing to learn.- Things not going well for USPS
This arrived today. 2 days ... 3 weeks, worth it as long as we can keep people from voting by mail. I have no one - zero - in my personal or professional life that doesn't think Trump is a dipshit con artist. If I did I'd take this USPS label and slap it on their fucking forehead.- Albums with no bad songs
This is a good call. I fucking love the Dead Next Door. Really haunting and unexpected for a Billy Idol tune.- Albums with no bad songs
Opinions differ, no problem. I responded to the OP: there are no bad songs on Achtung Baby. The best songs are fucking FANTASTIC, but the rest of the bunch are also good. The back half also has Ultra Violet (fantastic), Acrobat (good) and Love is Blindness (okay). I looked over Joshua Tree. Yeah I'd say there are no 'bad' songs on that album also, a couple on the cusp IMO. I just prefer the edge of Achtung Baby.- Albums with no bad songs

Get a multimeter and take a fuse out one at a time, watch for the drop. That could help at least regionally localize the drain problem. Sorry man, electrical issues are indeed a bitch.- Classic Car thread
Sucks man, sorry. So I assume the guy you bought the engine from just tossed in the old cam without grinding it? Fucker. What's your guess on the piston rust - small coolant leak? Humidity? Odd that it's just that lone location.- 80s club scene in Houston
Haha, first place I thought of when reading OP. I rolled through there a couple of times. It was in a basement IIRC. And there were always some bizzaro characters handling front door duties, theme nights, etc.- Classic Car thread
Yeah I did it myself. Instructions are very detailed, well done. Toughest part was bleeding the lines after installation and dealing with leaky connections. It's a self contained project, I wouldn't worry about breaking anything else. But while you're in there might as well replace old suspension parts. Keep in mind if you do it yourself there's no turning back; no shop will take it on unless they do all the work from the beginning.- What are you listening to right now?
@slorch your Scorps post got me Googling. Hot chicks ahead.- Things not going well for USPS
These motherfuckers. I have a package that's been "in transit" for 2 fucking weeks. I can't get a refund because it's been shipped, floating around somewhere in the western US. JFC this asshole and his sycophants have driven the entire goddamn country in a ditch. We need heads on pikes after this election. Tearing apart 600 mail sorting machines to stop votes, un-fucking-believable.- Classic Car thread
Local manufacturer: http://www.discbrakeswap.com/ I just swapped out my front, kept rear drums.- Classic Car thread
Pony vs Muscle definitely a different car. But 69/70 are only 1/2 inch wider and 4 inches longer than 67/68. There is something in the body lines that gives the impression 69/70 is much larger, but it isn't. I posted up thread how surprised I was when I got my 70 in the garage - took up much less space than I expected.- I pledge to post more pictures of this STEAK
Loved it. I bought two filets also, seared them last night for my kids. Had a bite, really, really good.- I pledge to post more pictures of this STEAK
@AustinMT your post inspired me to order from Flannery. Got 20% off as a first time buyer. I'll be back.- Favorite Female Vocalist?
I don't believe Aimee Mann has been posted yet. Also check this chick out, Nikka Costa. She goes off at the end of the song.- Matthew Rhys as Perry Mason HBO
Just finished this and really enjoyed it. Thought it was very well done, great characters, and I really liked the wrap up. Looking forward to Season 2. And Matthew Rhys is a good fucking actor.- Joe Biden Veepstakes 2020
I used to be good friends with Harris's husband. We drifted apart after they started dating, different social circles and all. Kind of surreal watching all this play out. He's a good dude, but I'm not sure if I'm happy for him or not. Being in the spotlight like that, yikes, no thanks.- Donald Trump 2020
Jesuits are freaky man, you're missing out.- Donald Trump 2020
This is correct. My uncle is a Jesuit priest. Very smart, very funny, very opinionated. He visits every New Year's and loves having martinis in hotel piano bars (he's 83). He married my wife and I. Some friends were lost trying to find the service; they drove past a priest in full regalia smoking a heater in front of the church and said, "That's Mach 1s wedding." - Classic Car thread
