Worst loss of the season. Senior Day, must-win to get in the tourney, revenge for losing to TCU earlier in the season... there should have been plenty of motivation and they laid an egg
Shaka is done. He's got the right mix of seniors and underclassmen in the lineup and still can't at least have them be Top-3 in the conference. It might not happen this year or even next year but I think we all know he's not the answer by now. It's only a matter of when
That sucks...I thought getting both WRs back was a lock. They would have put up monster numbers together in 2019. LJH will have a chance at a good career in the pros, in the right situation.
We'll have him for only one more year...he will have his HC offers after next season unless he really prefers to just be a DC forever like Bud Foster at VA Tech.
Georgia offense isn't explosive enough to come back like this. They got the 1 TD for window dressing but that's it...they're not going to be getting more quick strike points like OU did in the Cotton Bowl
If I were them, I'd have signed here with the intent of holding the clipboard until Ehlinger graduates. Seemed like the perfect situation - you don't have to get thrown into the fire as an underclassman, you get 2-3 years to learn the offense, and still have 2 years of eligibility left once you become the starter in 2021 and the program is past the rebuilding phase.
Gilbert was "the future" 3 years ago and now he's seemed to fizzle out at Texas and USF so this is the best opportunity to him. I know USF fans are celebrating his departure. After the Notre Dame win in 2016, people thought he was on his way to being the next great offensive mind in the country
