  1. I'm guessing that Ime is going to prefer Castle
  2. Yet, he's an extremely impactful player The issue is more about his awkward fit with Sengun than any sort of testing
  3. Fud replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
I thought Rich McKay was the primary influence for everything there, including Belichick getting spiked
  4. If you take a straight average of Givony, Vecenie, and Hollinger, here's the rankings 1) Sarr 2) Clingan 3) Topic 4) Castle 5) Sheppard 6) Holland 7) Buzelis '8) Risacher 9) Dillingham (pretty big tier break) 10) Knecht 11) Williams 12) Filippowski 13) Collier 14) Carter
  5. Stone is posturing that he'd only trade the pick if it were for great value, as he should be doing. What they actually prefer is speculation. Ime presumably wants a vet, but he likely understands that a marginal vet isn't worth trading the #3 pick for. Tildo wants to win right now, but I think he listens to Stone when Stone says the value isn't there The whole league knows that Mitchell won't re-sign with Cleveland. He'll be a huge free agent who'll end up at a destination city. Cleveland should recoup some assets a year early and try to see if they can get Garland right. Houston could really use plus shooting, and some of the best players in this draft are either bad shooters (Holland, Castle, Clingan) or not as good current as their profiles suggest they should be (Matas, Williams, etc) I think Sarr is probably gone by pick three, but I don't think Risacher by any means is a lock to be gone. I'm also not sure if he'd even be the pick for Houston Sheppard is an elite shooter who's a play-maker both on offense and defense, but he's also a small body who'd get hunted defensively If Houston stays at three, there's about a half a dozen directions I could see them going. The one guy who doesn't make sense to me is Dillingham. I could see Ime falling in love with Castle or Holland, despite their shooting issues Can Houston please steal one of the elite shooting coaches (Fred Vinson, Chip Engelland, etc)?
  6. Don't do too much research on potential picks, I guess

That's the point most are making. "If he puts it together" As-is, he's not a first rounder
  8. Mitchell isn't who I'd cash my chips in for
  9. If they think Adams will recover and be who he used to be, I don't see the need to take a big unless he's the PBA
  10. KOC updated his big board https://nbadraft.theringer.com/
  11. I love safeties who hate contact
  12. Borrowing this Caserio interview summary from elsewhere (I think it's from McAfee)

I think Quinn as-is, meaning minimal improvement over the next year, is probably a 4th-5th rounder. He has the arm and some other nice traits, but he's too far away from being an NFL starter to spare more than a mid round pick. If everything pans out, he might be a backup 2-3 years down the road, and might be a starter by his second contract. If he takes a natural small step forward due to another year in the system and the college game slowing down, he's probably a second rounder similar to Drew Lock. That's a year one backup with sub replacement level starter upside in year two, and possible average starting level play at the end of his rookie deal. If he takes a big step forward meaning he improves at his weaknesses (inaccuracy down the field, issues reading defenses especially in the middle of the field, not being constantly injured, not feeling premature pressure) and his more consistent week to week, he'll be a first rounder. That's a day one starter with above average starting QB upside.

    Eyerolls at Sean Payton's claims
  19. The two day draft is for the teams, not for viewers. Teams felt too rushed and confused by pick trades by round two and it was chaos
  20. Fud replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
They could have just drafted Odunze at #8 and have been awesome on offense
  21. Going back and listening to the Athletic's day to youtube video, Russini said that Houston was calling a lot of teams trying hard to trade back into the first round for who she believes was an offensive player. I'm curious who that was
