  1. Speaking of Brugler, he put out positional rankings among draftable players a few weeks ago. Top five overall for each position, and ranks draftable underclassmen and seniors separately. Here's Texas and OSU's Arch Manning #1 overall QB Trey Moore #10 senior Edge Ethan Burke #26 senior Edge CJ Baxter #4 third year RB Tre Wisner #6 third year RB Jack Endries #5 third year TE Anthony Hill #3 overall LB DJ Campbell #4 senior IOL Jaylon Guielbeaux #11 senior CB Malik Muhammad #7 third year CB Trevor Goosby #11 third year OT (this is a loaded class) Michael Taafe #7 senior S Deandre Moore #9 third year WR No DTs (only had five senior DTs for some reason, if he'd listed more I assume some of our transfers would have been listed) Carnell Tate #3 overall WR Brandon Inniss #19 third year WR Caleb Downs #1 overall S Ethan Onianwa #6 senior OT (oops) Sonny Styles #2 overall LB Arvell Reese #7 third year LB Max Klare #2 overall TE Caden Curry #25 senior Edge Kenyatta Jackson #5 third year Edge Beau Atkinson #10 third year Edge Davison Igbinosun #5 overall CB Jermaine Mathews Jr #10 third year CB CJ Donaldson Jr #11 senior RB No DTs or IOLs
  2. Byron Leftwich thinks Byrum Brown's release is slow
  3. Had to double check that this wasn’t saltynash’s handle
  4. I don’t think you’re giving me a hard time. I think you’re arguing in semantics about a topic I don’t give enough of a shit about to continue with
  5. I don’t feel like continuing to is thread. You win.
  6. How are they not relevant? Very few of us are actually at practices, so there’s no trendline that exists for us other than practice reports, which are typically incomplete because people who attend typically aren’t focusing on offensive guards, and if they are, there’s a decent chance they don’t know what they’re actually looking at
  7. Offensive linemen are tough to evaluate, and they’re allowed to develop
  8. In his post he clearly said in “the CFB playoff”, which is true
  9. Obviously Simmons will be an issue for most offenses, but I think Texas is going to have some killer sim pressures this year featuring Hill and the DTs that could be almost as problematic Simmons should require two blockers on obvious passing downs, but the sim pressures really fuck with your blocking numbers even if you block them up, and those two in combination could make it difficult for offenses to get as many guys out on routes as they’re hoping for
  10. Their playoff OL was helped last year by the best running back room in the country and a QB that could run
  11. Odd that they'd rave about someone starting for the Vikings, but whatever floats their boat
  12. Their OL got worse over the course of the season because it got injured over the course of the season, and probably bottomed out against Michigan. They got good enough for the playoffs though, in large part due to Donovan Jackson holding up at left tackle
  13. Flores was actually relatively successful in Miami and is now arguably the best DC in the NFL
  14. Baker is an improvement on Cam Williams playing on one leg at right tackle
  15. They played him all over the place, and he was good all over the place. On our first drive alone, he plays "big nickel", tampa two inside linebacker, overhang, and deep safety in a two safety shell
  16. Back to +2.5 https://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/
  17. Even when I agree with what he’s saying or find it insightful, his long winded delivery is a tough listen for me. It probably comes with having to fill time on a solo show that he built from the ground up, but I do a lot of x2 speed and 30 second skips until he talks about the big games of the week There are only two sports podcasts that I speed up (because I’ll typically just stop listening instead), and the other is simply because every pod is 2-2.5 hours long (Sam Vecenie’s) instead of being annoying
  18. I like his gambling stuff I listen to his oped CFB news takes on 2xs speed though because he requires 10 minutes to get a 1 minute point across, which gets old fast on a one-man show Also he visited A&M a few offseason ago and got VIP treatment, and he’s treated them with kid’s gloves ever since
  19. Sorry, I meant that the guy who'd been practicing at LT all offseason (the Rice guy) recently got moved to the right side (both RG and RT), and the guy who'd been practicing at RT (Siereveld?) is now their starting LT
  20. What the fuck does this have to do with KSU vs ISU you menstruating man-fish
