It’s nothing like college station Wtf. It was way prettier before Mt Davis but still a great stadium for what it is. Easy ingress/egress thanks to BART, short lines even when we were averaging 25k attendance a game. Reasonably priced seats before COVID (not worth to see the garbage now more than once a season)- 2023 MLB thread

That's because there's a typo. Replace part with par so the sentence reads "[The] only government on par with SEC type corruption relative to the rules binding them is in Albany." In other words, when you compare the level at which they violate the law relative to the legal burdens placed on them, the SEC looks worse than any government besides Albany. But also why the fuck are you bumping a comment that will be celebrating its second birthday in a week you dweeb?- 2023 DB Warren Roberson

I don’t think they get worse they just get louder- Deion Sanders "Coach Prime" Now At Colorado
The roster has probably no value and any value that it does have probably appreciated the message. Most of the talent there deep down recognizes that they are carrying the weight for free-riders who can’t play. The idea of Deion fixing that with fairy dust is alluring and probably will convince them to stay. Outside of the QB room which Deion probably fucked- Utah v. USC - Pac 12 Title Game - 7P Fox
Love seeing Cam Rising and JQJ killing it. Proud of my predictions for Rising's success on the old forums. My rankings for that class were Justin Fields-Trevor Lawrence-Tanner McKee-JT Daniels-Cam Rising iirc.- Texas at kansas - 2:30pm on FS1
We kinda had to throw given that our median ypc felt like 1.5 for large parts of the game. We needed to keep them honest but couldn't take the top off of them and make the safeties stay back or make short range passes to put receivers in space that would allow them to house it if they beat their man due to safety cheating. whether it was Sark's play calls or Quinn Ewers not liking what he saw on potential short range passes, I can't say. There were chances to make those passes, whether they were intentionally viewed as later reads in his progression because of Sark or was just a misread by Ewers is something we just don't know.- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
Yeah but he was and a true 1.000 at that for a reason. To quote Jim Harbaugh, if a worm had lasers, birds would be afraid of them. On a serious note, Quinn has showed flashes of brilliance, seems to have trouble with one particular type of defense (3-3-5 flyover/drop 8s) and has excelled at times and has shown rare decisiveness and the ability to thread the intermediate throw in tight windows few other QBs have shown the willingness or ability to do. I think that given an offseason with Sark (are we seriously trying to pretend the man who has probably the best active resume for QB development or at the very least top 5, has somehow lucked into all of them?) that a lot of these issues can and will be fixed. If the man couldn't handle any defenses, got abused whether in man or zone, whether it was an all-out blitz or drop 8, and didn't show the flashes he did, I could understand giving him the Card treatment. But that simply isn't the case.- Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
This and with Brohm at Purdue it was all but a foregone conclusion that he’d go there, tbh it was a miracle he ever committed to us in the first place. Look up the Brohms at Trinity in KY- bitterwhiteguy is quitting writing because chris beard is killing his joy
I was going to say I can't wait to see how BWG spins being ranked 2nd in the preseason KenPom and top 15 in the preseason AP poll as bad, but it turns out that he sees the writing on the wall and wants to quit before having to write praise for Chris Beard. And I say this as someone who agrees with his take about Arterio being under punished- Texas Recruiting Notes 2020

You think viewers need to be scared of a resistance to flow?- Hey PK -- What would you say you do here?
Yes they score more in the second than the first, but that ignores context. We gave them the ball on our own 30 for one drive. That drive alone is the difference in points. Couple that by going for it on 4th more frequently, which is EV positive in every situation they went for it in the second half, and you have good reason to expect increases in scoring even with better defense..- Hey PK -- What would you say you do here?
When was the last time our linebacker play was good? When Muschamp was DC? I think the problem goes beyond the coaches there.- Jimbo 2023: Watch.The.Tape.
We have a Sugar Bowl win over Georgia, wtf does A&M have to show over the past 5-6 years? A good year during the COVID year and…? No matter your spin it, we have sucked donkey balls and have not met our standards during any year over the past 12 years except for the aforementioned year. A&M has basically accomplished as much or less over that timeline than we have in terms of BCS Bowl Victories (recall the Cotton Bowl was not a BCS Bowl). They are the third best team in their division during their best years. We are pissed when we accomplish the same thing and we should be. We should demand excellence at every turn and give our coaches the time and resources necessary to achieve it. While you troll about the Quinn Ewers injury, keep in mind that if Quinn is uninjured, right now we are likely 5-0 and a top 5 team in the AP Poll. Sark is not as good as that result would make us appear nor is he as bad as this 3-2 result with an injured starting QB, an active but also injured second string QB, a recovering injured third string QB, and a walk on QB as the room. tl;dr shut the fuck up and watch you overly emotional and reactionary troglodytes. Sark can win a title here. Give him time.- Well assholes, it’s another Friday, and it wasn’t over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor . . .
From my home in San Diego, CA: FIGHT!- Texas D-Line Talk
This suggests to me the greater issue is at the LB/DB level and a failure to cover/make tackles after the QB is pressured. 110 pressures is a fuck ton and shows good usage of the front and in this day and age with significantly quicker releases from QBs (down by about 0.5 seconds from the 2000s and 0.3 seconds from 2017 alone (latter per the Athletic)) QB pressures are of a greater significance imo in terms of measure and predicting defensive front success than sacks. Now of course given how shit our edges and LBers are there are some complicating factors in evaluating our D under that lens as these numbers with competent Edge/LB crews would result in incredibly low play counts and TOP on the offense side and very few points scored.- 24-25 Fantasy League (seeking additional members)
