Hard to believe at this point. Biggest position of need and Texas currently has 0 options who have visited. Sprague would help I guess but hard to feel good about that one now. On the plus side, supposedly Michigan On3 reporters think Justice Haynes could be a portaler. Let's run this Michigan thing back again! Also OTF says Cade Uluave is visiting this week.
This is interesting. Maybe he hits the portal with Jordan Marshall also returning? Matt Zenitz on X: "Michigan star junior running back Justice Haynes is strongly considering returning to college for another year instead of leaving for the NFL, sources tell @CBSSports. Ran for 857 yards and 10 touchdowns in the Wolverines’ first seven games before a season-ending injury. https://t.co/2IUt3e3m58" / X
Black Monday in the NFL means lots of NFL assistants unemployed. Sark's mentor Pete Carroll's staff among them. Also now Tee Martin from the Ravens. Side note, how did Tyler Santucci end up as LB coach in Baltimore?
It's not just WR either. The Wisconsin LB is supposedly visiting tOSU now. Meanwhile the Auburn guy has committed elsewhere and I'm sure the Cal guy is lining up other visits. At OL, you have the two Michigan guys up in the air and other options are dropping off the map. Heck, ATM already landed two SEC iOLs.
OTF just did a live stream and Bobby/Gerry did a little good cop / bad cop on the Michigan OLs. Bobby expressing confidence, Gerry saying the Michigan visits usually aren't a good sign. Also apparently the Wisco LB is visiting tOSU now Idk how much of it comes from the staff vs 9.95ers but overconfidence certainly seems to be a theme.
This is what I'm saying. How the hell have they not even brought anyone else? (ignoring the guy they immediately dismissed for size) Similarly, on their livestream just now, Gerry just said Texas won't make moves on Tre Richardson or other WRs until they get the Cam Coleman decision. Isn't that kinda stupid? The best alternatives might be gone by then..
Gerry is sounding pessimistic about the Michigan OLs since they went to meet with Whittingham. He isn't saying he's heard anything, just that that often doesn't end well
Kalshi actually did register for this but hasn't actually offered it. Got a little backlash - Prediction market Kalshi self-certifies transfer portal trading - ESPN
I would sure hope so. A little odd with Mascoe and Allegrio on campus today. Hopefully Sark is beelining for Ann Arbor to drag those two OLs out of there.
Idk why anyone would be that surprised about Cam to ATM. He was committed to hem out of HS, Reed is sellable for anyone who hasn’t watched closely, and KC is about to be a 1st rounder. Surface level not a bad pitch Obviously anyone paying close attention knows Reed is garbage and Wiggins is a questionable OC to rely on, but Cam hasn’t been following any of that shit all year. As for RB - I’d rather grab Chris Johnson Jr, presumably cheaper than Raleek, and spread the savings elsewhere. Doesn’t sound like that’s happening though.
Apparently the two Michigan OLs are in Ann Arbor meeting with the staff there. Such a shame Texas didn’t know they needed OLs and couldn’t get ahead of it more than they have
Meh someone posted this on OTF. Not sure source. Raleek seems quicker than Tre but in those highlights I'm not sure he looks that much better than Clark did against Michigan tbh. Wisner Yards after Contact per attempt: 3.25 Raleek Brown: 3.28 Isaac Brown: 5.33 Edit: and Vogel posted this one Missed tackles forced Raleek: 53 Wisner: 13 Durham: 10
