Everyone on Memphis has COVID after party bus rager
Maybe so, but that fat bastard can probably knuckle with the best of them after he has had a few

Bourbon
I’m no expert, and I don’t like to say a particular bourbon is bad. Only that I didn’t like the taste. That doesn’t apply to Noah’s..... that is bad bourbon.

The Guitar Pron Thread
No. Gibson adds plastic to the new formula to prevent that very condition.

College Football in 2020 in danger?
Technically it is college football. Unfortunately it is not good college football.

General San Francisco Thread
The last time I was in Frisco I stayed at the Drake. Got in late and took a cab to the bar they filmed the Bogart scene in Maltese Falcon...started drinking...did my Bogart impression.....drank some more......did my Peter Lorre impression, realized wrong movie....drank some more. Somehow I make it back to the Drake, and passed out..... Around 6:30am I wake up and hear the most amazing saxophone I have ever heard. Crawl to the window and look out on Sutter and I see an old brother on the corner with His pan out front looking for coin. There is absolutely no one else around, only me 6 floors up sitting on the window ledge listening to the most soulful sound. He was playing so each note sort of hung in the air. Some would drag on in almost agony before he would break them off ala Coltrane. For me it was a surreal experience the way the tone reverberated against all the stone and concrete. No cars or trolleys to fuck with the sound. Just that one cat blowing that horn. I listened to him for about an hour before I threw some clothes on and went downstairs to throw him a $50. It was Frisco, and I love that fucking city.

John Mueller's new joint in Granger (Williamson County)
It worked out for you. You obviously raised your kids to spot an asshole when they see one, and you kept your cool. I say you got the better of it. But, the “everybody’s from somewhere” line was still good.

John Mueller's new joint in Granger (Williamson County)
Great fucking line though...

So uh, apparently this is how HS football players style themselves in 2020
Well, if you’re a bad ass you can pull off the white shades. Unfortunately those two young lads look like ringers on a 11-12 youth team.

The grain of the gods (Amaranth) has been my unicorn. The rest I have seen.

Age is no guarantee of efficiency, youth is no guarantee of innovation.

College Football in 2020 in danger?
How does anyone not see this, it’s pretty obvious. The Ratller kid may turn out to be special, but if Riley can avoid throwing him out early, he will. And he sure as hell doesn’t want to bring a rookie to Dallas against an upperclassman. He waits, he faces a rookie.

Bourbon
Man, it would take a special occasion to bust that seal.

Can RUSH continue on without Neil Peart? Maybe.
And they should. Just don’t call it Rush.

Beautiful Women Who Also Happen To Be Kickass Guitarists
For the uninitiated those are Les Paul Bursts from 57-60 with their serial numbers.

Beautiful Women Who Also Happen To Be Kickass Guitarists
Let’s get this back on track. Billy bought the majority of them in the late 70’s when prices were in the $10,000 to $15,000 range. In today’s money there is several million dollars worth of Gibson’s in that picture.

Beautiful Women Who Also Happen To Be Kickass Guitarists
I thought of you as a more cerebral guy? Using “sucks” to describe a musician with a career of almost seven decades seems below you? Mitchells work with Pat Metheny is some of the most beautiful guitar work I have ever heard. It is this wonderful combination of ease and difficulty working in tandem. Not to mention that over the years I have spent a lot of time and effort attempting to master some of her techniques, they are however quite difficult. And I have been playing since 65. Go grab a copy of one of her songbooks and give it a try.
