knew I wasn't going senile (yet). He's been balling out so far, actually good to see if his side of the NIL dispute last year is accurate.
also reason #1 to get everything in writing.
tie game, damn
we can only hope it reaches similar levels of hilarity.
sad thing is I actually like DeBoer as a coach, but taking THAT job to follow Saban of all gigs to take was career suicide.
tbh they're probably the best wings I've had in Durham.
I could go for an order of their Peri Peri wings with a half order of sweet potato fries w jerk dry rub right now.
not stunned, best stuff on the med campus when I was there was Chick-Fil-A and Panda Express, both of which were relatively new at the time. Food options just outside the campus were a good bit better, honestly my usual was either placing an order at Heavenly Buffaloes then picking that up and hitting the Green Room after a game or hitting up Cosmic Cantina.
Yeah Duke's always a REALLY underrated place to catch a game. Walk from the medical campus is pretty nice as well, only negative is the food options were always kinda weak when I worked there.
Idaho State apparently giving UNLV a hell of a time and of course it's not available to stream anywhere that I can find.
Feels weird not having Farmageddon in the middle of a snowstorm but hell of a game to kick off the season at least.
that one was a bargain of a deal for the Canes.
the Miller trade and extension - not so much. Don't get me wrong, I've been high on the kid dating back to his time with the Badgers, that said a first (late as it may be), 2nd, and Morrow is A LOT to give up though.
Massive clash of egos between Tom Dundon when he bought the Canes, and the Checkers owner who had a small stake with the Canes under the Karmanos ownership group. Not sure if there was a falling out between the two before the affiliation agreement expired and Khan was doing it as a "fuck you" or if Khan was simply trying to take Dundon for whatever he thought he could since the Checkers won the Calder Cup the prior season, but the terms he was apparently asking for were richer than any other independent team in the A. Dundon ended up calling his bluff and the Canes ended up affiliating with the Chicago Wolves as a result, whose owner comes with his own level of shit show.
