  1. Ewe got to be kidding . . ,
  2. Wrong end of the horse. (Yeah, yeah; I know. But horse works.)
  3. Hall of Famer Norm Van Brocklin coached, among others, the Atlanta Falcons after his NFL career ended. At that time the fledgling AFL was trying hard to get games with the established NFL teams for legitimacy-by-association purposes. Atlanta refused to schedule any AFL teams. When Van Brocklin was asked why, he replied, "Three reasons: If you win big, you were supposed to; if they play you close, it's a moral victory for them; if they beat you, you gotta' get out of town."
  4. It's more than budding. Pate likes guys. It is known. In this case, he's letting his personal feelings interfere with his professional judgment--if he has any, and his stance on aggy calls that into question. Now, admittedly, I don't have pix of him and Chinpubes or anything but it's eerily similar to Craig James killing five hookers: It must be true; I read it on the internet. Oh, and I'm not going to outright spread that Pate-Chinpubes rumor on the 'net, but I might ask a lot of folks if they'd heard about it . . .
  5. Yeah, Mac Davis had it right--right up until that last verse.
  6. Uh, pretty sure Pate didn't have to be roofied.
  7. Couldn't get in at Texas. Aggy takes everybody.
  8. "Shorty's Bar and Grill, Albuquerque, New Mexico"
  9. No, Bilbo's contract is skunk cost. And it's not a fallacy.
  10. Teacher: Freddie, do you mean "womb," like a woman's womb? Foulmouth Freddie: Naw, Teach, I mean "woom," like a elephant fart.
  11. Damn good thing the Purple Wizard wasn't on the sidelines yesterday . . .
  12. Si and I went to the circus. He got hit with a bowling pin. We got even with that circus, we bought tickets to all our opponents' games on both sides of the field so we could switch perspectives at halftime, but we didn't go in.
  13. Face it; our run blocking has been a concern since Jesus was in short pants.
  14. Can you say Stephen A. Smith? I knew you could.
  15. Be sure and pitch this to our Surl nurses too. They've got obscene amounts of discretionary money lying around.
  16. To all you who think it's OK to kill animals for food, shame on you; you ought to get your meat from the grocery store, where no animals were harmed.
  17. I wonder if today's rules would cover that time in 1972 when that sooner cocksucker, Larry Lacewell--I'm sorry, I misspoke. I shouldn't have called him a cocksucker; I should have called him that rotten-ass, syphilis-infected cocksucker, Larry Lacewell--sent that other rotten-ass, syphilis-infected cocksucker, Lonnie Williams, to pose as a painter working inside Memorial Stadium and spy on Longhorn practices? Makes Venables' modern-day shenanigans look like child's play by comparison. Never forget.
