I want to see how many starters sit out against Abilene. Absolutely nothing to gain but potential injuries playing a game like that late in the season.
As unlikely as it is, it seems like a loss to ACU would be the only possible way for them to muster up enough courage/cash to possibly drop Jimbo. That’s not a good outcome.
But then again, it’s so funny. The absolute unbridled hilarity would make me laugh 10 years from now.
So kinda house money here.
That guy is a wannabe Nebraska guy. Went to Nebraska-at Omaha, grew up there. He has trauma from growing up watching us bend Nebraska over every which way. He also thinks being nasty to people when they are successful is “telling truth to power.”
Yeah, I understood that they want to be a big school because they don't think small tech schools in the "upper" but not "upper upper" tier are going to survive. If only my kids liked math...
I don't know - he looks like Mr. "Pretend I'm Working Class While Complaining The Poors Don't Want to Work" guy to me. It surprised me not at all that he is in the hedge business. I'd bet on vulture funds.
I guess this kinda seems simple to me. I think/hope if I were a Michigan alum I would say “I went to Michigan. I did not go to Harbaugh. If the football/basketball/baseball/equestrian/meat judging head coach sufficiently embarrasses Michigan he has to go. That’s it. Don’t care how good he is, how coveted he is, how big a legacy he is, or how much it hurts. “
I mean, I get football>basketball and orders of magnitude and difference in type of accusation and all that, but see Chris Beard.
I do admit that feeling like that coach was in process of absolutely owning ou would make it hurt a lot more.
It’s so good to know we’re done with them. Even if it turns out I’m wrong like 20 years ago, the fact that I currently think I never have to deal with them again feels great.
The one school that looked at aggy and said “we can whine and bitch and play victim waaay more about less.”
You kind of have to sell it more these days. From the start of the conversation/meeting to the end, you visibly and ostentatiously glance at the watch over and over, more and more frequently as time passes, possibly with a panicked expression if needed. Then you announce at the right time.
