I saw a bunch on Rainey street and east Austin today. Spoke to a few about DJ. Most said was he is the future and hope he doesn’t play and risk further damage. Nice people enjoying the weather today…. accepting of their fate tomorrow.
Tickets were free and I know enough about how to be self sufficient out here. It’s a horrible mismanaged venue but the cars are cool. I got shade and a breeze in the grandstands to start. Then I’ll migrate to turn 15.
So many things can be improved out there. It’s maddening. Did get to tour the new turn 11 condos. Small one is 1500 sq feet and 475k. The model condo was the 6000 sq foot 2.3M.
I’ll be out there tomorrow. COTA is always a bit of a beating but I always love the experience once I get in and eventually home. I heard water stations were scarce today. Packing extra frozen bottles. Turn 15 for first time
How did you schedule the in person appointment? The Passport hotline at midnight or whenever you were within the 14 days or travel? I have to do this in June for a cruise
Have an EGO electric chainsaw ready for pickup at Lowes. Is that everyones plan this weekend? Cut the fallen branches and then do what? Bonfire for the next few weeks? Haul it off?

proud member of Los Verdes. I held Layla up for the tifo with my 14 yr old.. thought id share a snip from her obituary:
Layla loved dancing and singing and loved the Dallas Cowboys. She would sing with her father every morning heading to school and again on her way home with her mother. Layla was a smart witted and rambunctious child. She was always cheerful and respectful of her elders and would be the first to greet and assist family guest and friends. Layla was a girl who loved many different activities with some of those being swimming and running track. When she wasn’t spending time swimming at the river with her parents or running track you could find her singing and dancing. Layla also enjoyed making TikTok videos and adored Koala bears. Layla won 6 first place ribbons on field day and was so proud of her accomplishments. She would say, ”If you aren’t first, you’re last.” On the many days her grandfather and grandmother would pick her up from school she would get treated with tacos, so she would ask them to pick her up as often as she could.
