proud member of Los Verdes. I held Layla up for the tifo with my 14 yr old.. thought id share a snip from her obituary:
Layla loved dancing and singing and loved the Dallas Cowboys. She would sing with her father every morning heading to school and again on her way home with her mother. Layla was a smart witted and rambunctious child. She was always cheerful and respectful of her elders and would be the first to greet and assist family guest and friends. Layla was a girl who loved many different activities with some of those being swimming and running track. When she wasn’t spending time swimming at the river with her parents or running track you could find her singing and dancing. Layla also enjoyed making TikTok videos and adored Koala bears. Layla won 6 first place ribbons on field day and was so proud of her accomplishments. She would say, ”If you aren’t first, you’re last.” On the many days her grandfather and grandmother would pick her up from school she would get treated with tacos, so she would ask them to pick her up as often as she could.
Season ticket holder here - I love Austin FC and going to the games. The supporter groups are hilarious and its a great community.
La Murga dropped a spotify playlist last week:
This! I have learned a lot listening to practice sessions. For me the progression was: DTS - races - then r/formula1, surly, twitter follows, podcasts, F1TV archives and tech talks...
Well I heard they had abandoned cars (on shoulder) on 35 that had cameras in them and they would collect license plates and they were matching/narrowing down the LP numbers for the incident. He was on a short list right before they they matched the 911 calls. or so i heard
Yeah I have done a few of those tests... System never had issues. The camera trigger on the SH130 test was overhead laser sensors. But the cameras are almost always recording and then the trigger just tells them what frames to save and associate with the transaction.
The new ALPR software can run on an iPhone and I can just hold my phone out the window, drive a parking lot and its identifying the license plates in real time.
The rock thrower tow trucker was almost caught with the ALPR tech but I cant tell that story...
Regarding the plate reader ( aka Automatic License Plate Recognition tech) I work with roadside technology and it’s evolving fast. Software does most of the work.
The native F1 TV app finally showed up for my Google TV and Android TV. Have had to cast before. I’ve been a fan for 2 years consuming the archive and learning the different layers to F 1. This forum is a good part of my reading. Anyone listen to the podcasts?
